The Kuwaiti police have uncovered a planned assasination of the new Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi. The plans were found in documents seized by the
Kuwaiti police in the past few days. Information was gathered from four Kuwaitis who were extradited from Syria, these four were trying to cross into

Kuwait City - Kuwaiti police have found documents detailing an apparent plot to attack the head of Iraq's caretaker government during a planned
visit here next week, a security source said on Sunday.
"A plan to assassinate Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi was uncovered in documents seized ... and related to suspects," the source said, requesting
anonymity.
The documents were discovered "during raids over the past dew days in search of suspects", the source added, without elaborating.

The report stated the potential assasination was to be implemented on the 14th anniversary of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. The Kuwaiti's are
clamping down on extremists and the news of Syria extraditing the four trying to get into Iraq is some good news as far as the Arab nations stepping
