Kudos for standing up and admitting that! Learning from mistakes is a good thing. Now, what can we do to get him OUT of office? Time Congress impeached him already. Even many liberals are saying that now. Found myself (to my horror) agreeing with Dennis Kucinich.....

I would love to see an election contest between Alan West or Herman Cain on the Right and Obama on the Left

Hey man, dont be ashamed, that ignorant terrorist fooled all of us. This just shows that people need to stop voting for a president based on what they say and their acrions prior to election instead... Because every single presisent spews bull# lies in order to be elected.

Well this is a good thread firstly. Next, the ignorant and racist people can't hide their faces in the rhetoric they type.

Obama has been no better or no worst than any other president. In fact his term has been like every other President, a lot of talk and no real change. The only change that happens, is change that benefits special interests and corporations.

Those who dwell on what Michelle is spending...you do know that taking the position of President is actually a pay cut for Obama right? I mean, they were rich before he became President. So if she walks around with $600 shoes, they are rich! Michelle wasn't exactly a welfare queen before her husband became President, if i'm not mistaken she's an attorney.

The issue is that America, indeed the World was hijacked since its creation. No President will be able to make a change, not even the guys being championed now the Paul's. Even if they have the best intentions for the nation in mind currently, once they take office and they see the JFK tape or whatever it is that Presidents are shown (perhaps they're informed their families will be raped and murdered or they're told that there are aliens who will kill and eat them) because it's obvious too me they are shown something, they will fall in step with the rest. You can see it in Obama's face, the different person he is since his inaugaration. It's like he realizes his hands are tied and there's nothing he can do.

Even removing the conspiracy stuff, you can see that the President know he can't really do anything. There will never be a Pres that institutes socialism or anything else unless it is wished by their boss, whoever that boss is. Yeah a Pres can make little changes such as this healthcare plan, which in reality is NOTHING! All of you crying over it are crying over nothing! Neither myself nor anyone I know has been affected by it!

The only way to have any real change is if everyone decides to revolt by violence or by not participating in the Beast anymore. You do this by refusing to work and cherish material items. These are the only ways to really bring about any change.

Many people, from those in the terrorist training camps that were allowed to wreak their havoc, to the people who bailed from the housing market just in time to beat the crash, would totally agree with you.

Blaming Obama misses the point. the banksters rule, period. the last president to stand up against them was JFK.

every president since then took those shots to the dome that JFK took as a lesson on what not to do. Until we get a group of people, not one, but a large group of people in washington willing to literally die for freedom, people with a gunslinger mentality, we will get more of the same.

It's either that, or it's revolution time, and very few americans are up for THAT.

In professional wrestling, wrestlers who do the same moves over and over again have the chant "same old s***!" thrown at them by the fans.

In the serious world the "same old s***!" is politics.

Obama campaigned on change, all I see is the "same old s***!", he is sneaky, he wants to gain more and more power world wide, atleast Bush said "F You, yeah i'm doing it"

Barrack Obama is a pawn and nothing more, how powerful can you be when you have to rely on millions of dollars of donations to get elected? WHO are you really going to serve?

I am damn proud of the fact I didn't vote for any of those crooks, REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS ARE THE SAME! They just exploit different sectors of America, but ultimately answer to their lobbyists, donors, and own self interests.

If America REALLY wants change, it's time to start voting independently and not who FOX/ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC Tell you whos "good" and "bad"

Ron Paul told us many things that would happen, and he was silenced by the networks when he was being to honest, but HEY WE HAD RUDY GUILIANI TELL US HOW HE WAS MAYOR DURING 9/11 a million freaking times!

Hopefully Americans stop being lemmings(HAHA THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN) and start trying to save their country, my best guess is 75 percent of them will fall victim to the "same old s***!" as usual

Don't be too hard on yourself gncnew. I didn't vote for him, but I did lightly defend him in the 1st hundred days or so after his election. In my mind he was who my nation that I love elected, and wanted. I was willing to defend him as long as he kept his end of the deal. That didn't last too long. It is now painfully obvious to anyone paying even a little attention that he is a liar, an elitist, and is obviously on board with the agenda to cripple America. I don't agree with posters who call him stupid, or inept. He KNOWS exactly what he is doing, and is accomplishing his goals with great accumen. "We the people" are the ones who have become stupid, lazy, and/or just apathetic.

The solution to all our national issues is a grassroots change of heart. "We the people" need to become engaged, and involved in politics again. It IS important. It IS changeable. We are the politicians bosses, and we have fallen asleep at the wheel for about three generations now.

Why not raid the coffers, and gold brick about all day? The boss doesn't care. He can't be bothered to even look. All we have to do is keep the TV in his office tuned to some reality show, and remind him how much trouble it is to keep tabs on us, and we're golden. When the cats away the mice play. Right?

It's time the cat awoke, and started crunching some mouse ass. Democrat, and republican they have both failed miserably. The dems want to anesthetize half of us to death with handouts, and entitlements. The repubs want the other half of us for cannon fodder for the corporate machine to pay for their secret buddies, the dems, anesthetic. It's like it is the dems job to distract the boss while the repubs grab the cash.

I don't know if we can do it or not though. As a whole Americans are so easily distracted, it's like we have a national case of ADD. If we get too hot on someone's case they just have the MSM throw us a cute ball of string, and away we run to play with it, and forget all about the corruption we just witnessed. Where is our collective sense of outrage? We are being screwed dry, and we don't even care?!? If not then we deserve what we get.

There are a few bible-thumpers around my community, and their views get brought into conversations both directly and indirectly (talking about the local hubub). One day, it came up that some of the locals thought Obama was the antichrist (this was back during the elections).

My response to the claim he was the antichrist: "Nah, he's too obvious."

To those that say his presidency is "average" - I would contend that his handling of several major issues beg to differ. His handling of the BP oil spill was very lackluster. It was clear from that point that he had no aptitude for executive action. His handling of the two wars has also been substandard - there is a lack of mission and attention on the part of our Commander in Chief. Who also decides to suddenly act like he has a back-bone and order tactical strikes on another sovereign nation in support of revolutionaries he knew little about (or did know about, depending upon how thick your tin-foil hat is).

Meanwhile, he and his family fly about on vacations and rack up all kinds of unnecessary expenses at rates no other President has.

Oh, yeah, Congress is having trouble passing one of those budget things - maybe he should look into that.

He treats the presidency like you would treat a motivational speech - get up, say some nice things, and leave it up to those in attendance to put words into action.

We can argue all day long about shadow-government and oligarchic conspiracies - but at the end of the day, the man currently in the office is simply incapable of performing the duties of that office. He is even worse than Kennedy in this respect.

Obama had to happen to teach Americans a lesson about the weakness of liberal socialism. Sometimes the cure just tastes horrible.

Some thoughts I posted on a different website.

Here in America we have One political party. The Republocrates. I actually get a kind of chuckle when people try to draw a difference between Bush and Obama when Obama is Bushes 3rd term.

(Bush = "Warmonger")
Bush: Lets go to war with Afghanistan and Iraq.

(Obama = The Supposed "Peace-Nik")
Obama: Lets "Leave Iraq, but not actually leave and lets go on and put more folks in Afghanistan...oh and while we are over there how about a little Libyan action to cause you know...the U.N. said we should.

(Bush= Corporate Flunky)
We should bail out the banks and make sure they all get their bonuses...

(Obama= For the little man)
We should bail out the banks and make sure they get there bonuses... oh and how about we give them a little extra on the side.... Oh yeah and G.E. You don't need to pay taxes... at all. Thanks for those campaign contributions back in 08 I am certain we can work your jet engines into this whole Libyan thing.

(Bush= Evil Torturer extraordinaire) Lets ship folks off to Gitmo to be tortured and indefinite incarceration without a trial.

(Obama= Let my people go!) Lets not close gitmo like we said and in addition to, for the really bad ones we can just ship them off to Saudi Arabia or Lebanon or some such were they are Really Really good at torture.

(Bush= Big Brother) Lets pass the Patriot Act and spy on the American people and have secret detentions.

(Obama= Freedom and liberty lover) Lets not only keep the Patriot Act lets go ahead and make it even more intrusive...

I could go on and on and on but in short, Meet the New Boss same as the Old Boss.
Until people learn to recognize that it is the Private Centralized Banks, such as the Federal Reserve (No more Federal than Federal Express) and the IMF that really run the show we are going to be destined to repeat the same stupid globalist, liberty squashing policies that we have been pursuing for a long long time. People have got to stop trusting the mainstream media for their news,
I mean really do you think NBC can be unbiased when they are owned in part by G.E.? Look at your T.V. Networks. See how many Cable channels you have? Well guess what? there are 5 parent companies that own them all.... That's Right 5 Most peoples realities and "Truths" are are feed to them. (See Mockingbird...) They think they have a choice of agenda but they really dont. Their reality is prepackaged for them from a choice of 5 flavors. The dish is ultimately the same. For example you are presented with a Dish... lets say Ice Cream. You can have Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookies and Cream, Peanut Butter Chip. What you cant have is Cake or Pie.... Only Ice Cream.
You see these people have one goal, total control over you and me. They give you the illusion of choice to make you think you have some say in what happens in the world and in your life but in truth the over all agenda is the same regardless of who is "elected" because they own the media and the politicians.

Of course you all already knew this here on A.T.S. right? Anyway beings how we are all mostly cognizant of all this why do we then continue to say, The Republicans are to blame, or the Democrates are to blame? Why cant we see that there is no "Left-Right" there is only tyranny or freedom. Nazis's were just as "Left" as "Communist" hell the only major diffrence in ideology was was "Workers of the World Unite, vs Workers of Germany Unite". Neither group really wanted freedom for its people.

Admission of one's own mistakes is just wonderful... but who exactly are you that it's such important news? Are you a self proclaimed "important person" or something?

Sheesh just move on, attention *****.

It took you THIS long to realize you were wrong in voting for Obama?

I voted for Bush both times. By 2006 I was more than sick of him and his "good ol' boy" network and was really regretting that choice.

In 2008 I voted for Obama thinking he would really shake things up in the network and make some real changes.

As soon as he put Geithner in as Treasury Secretary I realized that it would be "same old, same old".

I am not even registered to vote anymore because I have realized that your vote does not matter. It's a waste of time and just proves to frustrate someone who thinks that it makes a difference.

It got me to thinking.

Think about how many things remain the same no matter who or which party is "in power" .......

- Illegal immigration still a problem.
- NAFTA still stealing American jobs.
- Still involved in wars in the middle east. Actually one more than under Bush.
- Bailouts of irresponsible, greedy behavior with taxpayers money.
- Washington's out of control spending of OUR money.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!!!!! NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE!!!!!!!

Face facts, our votes don't mean squat.
