This is a very well written post. Thanks.

I didn't vote for Obama, but I felt like it didn't really matter. I found both McCain & Obama impossible to listen to. When it was announced that he won, I was secretly thrilled in my little Republican heart, that as a nation we had looked beyond race, and perhaps all his lovely rhetoric - though it seemed empty - would add up to something real.

After 2.5 years, I'm not willing to call myself Republican anymore. I'm disgusted with both sides. Obama is the other side of the coin (Bush was the first side). They are all the same currency: crooked politicians.

That is the truly terrible thing - Obama is just as crooked as the rest of them.

The real question remains: who would ever run for president who WASN'T crooked and power-mad?

You muppets need to realise a convaluted mess of the magnitude bush left us will take years to correct. Face it. Start supporting your country instead of whining about how it isnt magically fixed overnight. Numptys.

I got paid when I worked for Bush. I probably won't be next week for the foreseeable future. This is Obama's presidency...not Bush's. I blame Clinton for a lot of Bush's issues...particulalry 9/11...and you guys wouild have none of it...so hears yours right back at you. OBAMA NEEDS TO STEP UP AND HE ISN"T!!!!!! This presidency is the biggest joke in American history. Almost 30 years in the military and this may be the first time I will not be paid. That speaks volumes about what he thinks of us. Him and his cronies are more worried about losing wasteful funding on abortion and planned parenthood programs..neither issue of which I could give a toss about except for the fact that it's f***KING WASTEFUL. If teenagers want condoms fine...let them buy the damn things so I can get paid! However, now it appears the the Dems don't care if I am paid until their agenda is fully funded and government pork barrel spending is back where the Dems think it should be.

I recall a time when [snip] said that he wants the keys back to the car because republicans dont know how to drive and they are in reverse. Looks like democrats are the ones that don't how to drive the only thing they do is go in reverse.

You were not wrong OP....we all were. I didnt vote in the last round ONLY because the big O signed on to the same thing the big W was doing with the bailout. They were 100% the same. When I saw that I knew that it was over for that round of the presidency, so why bother? All I can say is Ron Paul...he is not a messiah, he is not our new god. He is only a person that happens to be in Congress and actually cares about this nation and speaks his mind. In 2012, he will run and he will probably be shut out again by the media and no one will see him nor vote for him. What a sad nation of states we have become...only because of complacency. If, BIG IF, Obama (really his controllers) can keep society together by 2012, he or some other plant will win...again. Not so sure our vote even really matters anymore anyhow. We live in interesting times friends. Too interesting.

I've been trying to put a finger on what this is all about. When I checked out this interview on NBC Today, I noticed that Trumps support from the Tea Party is at 20 percent and NBC News Wall Street Journal Poll at 17 percent, now you got to remember these polls are always put out by the MSM.
It occurred to me, here we go again, sway the people back to the conservative side.
Now Ron Paul is a guy that's an independent, and they don't want you to vote for an independent.
People, this is the same game with different players, don't fall for it. It's just another reality show trying to get you all caught up, and hoping that this time there will be a difference, it's all a psychological game plan.
The issue of Obama's birth certificate wouldn't go away, they never wanted to pull out of Afghanistan, or Iraq. And a few other issues that were never meant to be changed and then some home policies that they want to change.
I can see what's going on now, very good tactic. Now the rest of you should be able to figure it out.
I remember what one poster said, and this caught my eye, what voters need to do is vote for the independent for a change, and I add this, support the guy to the hilt.
If this don't work, than nothing will.

What is the Tea Party a foreign perspective. I thought maybe a foreign view might be a little better than a biased view like wikipedia, or from the Tea Parties own website.

The two party system needs to be dismantled and lobbying needs to be made illegal and campaign finance reform is the only way anything will get fixed.

Yep I'm with you on this. The "sheople' who applauded him really just did not know what he meant by domestic security force. They really know very little of what he means when he talks. Most people do not know of the diabolical things our leaders have been doing and what they are planning. I thought he sounded very intelligent and well-spoken till I heard about his plans to promote sex-ed for kindergartners. I knew instantly he had no morals. He is a Statist through and through. At the Saddleback forum he said that parents abusing their kids was one of the things that he was most concerned about, yet his solution is to give Uncle Sam and the educators more power than the parents. That is the sign of a Statist. Everything he does and everything he has always promoted has had the mark of Big Government and Statism. When he said he was a "Citizen of the World" I knew he was a globalist and not a loyal American. And now even a wealthy businessman in Donald Trump is demanding he produce his birth certificate. But still, look at who he has been involved with.... so many radicals and avowed communists, Ayers from the Weatherman Underground who thought that they didn't do enough bombing buildings. He is involved with anti-American radicals all the way. I used to think Bush was nefarious for dealing with the Saudis, but now the Saudis are gong elsewhere. Makes one pause...

Obama is very definitely of the Socialist persuasion. He may be used by the NWO for their purposes, and is most likely part of it. There are definitely a lot of players on the field. Probably a few of them are sitting on the bench at present. Obama is definitely very narcissistic, very radical, very leftist, and again, being used by the NWO. His radical ideology is a means to the end, which is One World Govt. Sure, they wanted to swing it to the left and it will swing back to the right, at least the pretend right anyway. The communists can tell you that Socialism is just the bridge to communism, and fabian socialism is incremental Socialism, although they are doing a real knock up job pushing everything Socialist through they can get away with in a big hurry.
Anyone wonder why Obama renewed the Patriot Act? Or wonder why the Patriot Act was first drafted during the Clinton admin and they just called it something else? Michael Savage once said that Bush was a fiscal socialist. So, it's not that the Neocons are republicans, its that they are not real conservatives. The term Neocon was coined by a Socialist to denote those who went from the left to the right. It was stated in Congress that one of the goals of the communists was to capture one or BOTH of the political parties in the US. Guess how far they have gotten?

Before you dive into blind contempt you may want to think for a second about what is going on in the world. First of all, Obama has no spine. He runs and hides whenever he is faced with something difficult. Yes he has a hard job. But do you recall Bush ever doing that? Bush on the other hand did the best with what he was given I mean come on you think Obama has it bad? During Bush's first 10 months in the presidency we went into a recession because of the economy that Clinton left him with and then September 11. If you think either of these could ever be Bush's fault you are sadly mistaken considering the biggest reason for our failing economy is the motivation redundant government help groups steal and the ridiculous sums of money that they steal from our paychecks before we even get them. A great deal of these redundancies were created during the Clinton administration when the Democrats had full control. The other big part of these groups were from FDR's original so called "masterpiece" that flipped upside down because it was not very well thought out. It's what happens when baby boomers enter retirement and there aren't enough people with jobs to pay for them. The thing is that the government has no place in the economy. It also has no place in education since graduation rate and college enrollment rate has plummeted since it took that over.

And finally it has no place in health care. Seriously, would you really want the government to control who lives or not and when you live and die? Are you crazy? Or are you just one of the pseudo-intellectuals colleges are currently mass producing; who are discouraged from thinking for themselves and drawing any conclusions of their own; whose minds act as the empty vessels molded to provide an environment and a vehicle for far-left ideology and an anti-moral mentality; who I see filing in to every single one of my classes listening to Lil' Wayne and quoting the Jersey Shore while trying to sound like they are getting an education by throwing slurs that their professor or favorite news anchor conjured up? Are you that model of human being? What's your serial number?

Now I will be the first to say to you that Communism (which is the way the left is heading at a rampant pace) is a very beautiful idea. The problem is it won't work and it has never worked. Not even it's off-shoot economic ideological twin, Socialism, will ever or has ever worked for long. It's just fact. People are too corrupt and become too greedy for something like that to work. For it to work you need to be able to trust the government officials and politicians. That would be idiotic in this world.

I agree with a lot of what you say, and while I don't care for McCain much, he's a "RINO" in my book, but at least he's American. I've had enough of Obama's anti American bs, I'm just sick of it. He is so obvious with his agenda, and yet so many people got snuckered by him. What an amazing con job he did. But who really is behind him? Soros really is the puppet-master behind Obama, but the real wizard behind the curtain is the Satanic Rothschild family. They have so much power it just is hard to fathom. But McCain did not really fight Obama much. He's got plenty of money. So why didn't he fight harder? Why wasn't the Republican Party strong? My answer is that TPTB wanted Obama in. In my view, both Obama and Hillary would have pushed the hc agenda. That was in the works even when Bill was in office. And Romney still defends his RINO Version of hc. I think it matters very little whether Quaddafi is a dictator and hated or loved by his people, Obama's agenda is to leave it to the UN, because the UN is the seat of World Govt. How many people here know that Obama and Biden jointly sponsored a bill called the Global Poverty Act, which ostensibly to fight world poverty, it would transfer 0.07 % of American GDP per year to the UN. I mean give me a break. Although the bill did not get passed, the Bilderbergs are still trying to get a global tax mandated one way or the other. I predict that the Japan crisis will be used to get some kind of global energy tax, while at home Obama will use it to promote "green energy" and he will be all for a global tax and he will just look like he's going along for the ride. It's all so disgusting.

The Tea Party is good old fashioned Americans who love our country and the Constitution. Why did janet napolitano demonize them for being pro Constitution? And omg Nancy pelosis pitiful acting job when she pretended to be so scared of the demon T Partiers in Brooks bros clothing, what a charade that was. What she is afraid of is that T Partiers see through the scam and demanding these Travelers stand down. Why is DHS accosting Americans at airports now with all that groping and backscatter nonsense? It is because TPTB have absolute hatred of the Constitution and every thing it stands for because they are Statists. If anything, the T Party is the most spontaneous grassroots organization in the US. Just look at how OFA was involved in counter protest against the T Party. Look at their signs then look at the home made signs of the T Party. Soros money printed the SEIU signs, and loyal Patriots hearts printed the T Party signs.

You mean that the people who promote communism ideologically really believe in it and want to help people? If Obama is the current example I have to disagree. Communism is ideologically, spiritually, and morally bankrupt. Fascism is also ideologically left, it just has a happy face on it. Today, the WH occupiers are attacking McDs for our own good. "You will do what we say because we know what's good for you", that's the nanny state. And yet those who are in power in any Communist and/or Socialist state always have the most money and the best vodka, and the people get the crumbs from the table and think they are being taken care of.

Well said. I mean I do not trust anyone to protect my rights but we would have been better off with McCain who, as a veteran, would have had the spine to tell them to eff off when what they were trying to do started to threaten the American people. Not to say that he wouldn't have made other deals with them. But I'd rather have someone that will stand up for who and what they believe in in office than a wimp. That's the thing about people like Reagan and even Nixon although he got a bad rap for watergate. Speaking of watergate I'm kind of mad that nowhere in the history books does it cover what they were looking for, just the fact that they broke in for some vague and "evil" reason. This is the kind of thing that the democratic government does with public education though. The leave the masses oblivious to what is going on. Not to mention indirectly breeding an entire generation of people in poverty who are entirely dependent on them. Not to mention constantly using scare tactics to get what they want. In my opinion that's the definition of the mob... By the way even my iPhone has a pre-defined spelling correction for Rothschild.

I'm not saying its perfect. There are many in the medical community who would like to see Canada's health care System fail so some doctors will do as little as possible to help the patient. Its not that the system is bad, it's that those who work for the system don't like it because they can't make as much money as their American counterparts. I didn't mean to go off topic I was just trying to make a point.

So let me get this straight? Canada's Universal hc system is being sabotaged because some people don't like the system? How about it is failing because Universal hc cannot work, because Socialism does not work. Why would a doctor work harder when his pay will not go up. Remember a certain someone said "It's above my pay grade"? I was thinking about this yesterday. The Hidden Hand of Adam Smith works even in the Communist system. Why work harder if you don't get paid higher? Even a certain somebody won't work unless getting paid. Or did you think it was really all about altruism?
