Its known that the people who call themselves the "palestinians" derive their name, and also their cause from the Roman mutation of the Hebrew word Pilishtim, or Philistine. This word in Hebrew, hilarious enough, also happens to mean "trespasser"

Now the question remains. Why oh why oh why, would these Arabs choose to name themselves Palestinians? Is it really possible, or thinkable, that these political masterminds were ignorant of the meaning of this word in the Hebrew language? This word has no meaning in Arabic. An arab people took a latin corruption of a Hebrew word that literally means "trespasser", and to boot, this people is infamous for being the enemy of the biblical Hebrews.

Aren't you tired of parroting that same old worn nonsense over and over again?

The following thread completely debunks this stupid argument that is often used -how surprising – by modern day Anti Semites

Wow, a new world record. You read 10 pages in under 5 minutes.
You must be smarter than you appear to be at first glance.
Josef Goebbels and friends would have been proud of your racial thorough research.

why whenever I see you post you are calling someone an anti semite or comparing a poster to nazis. I know you only make posts and threads on this specific topic. Maybe you need to mix it up a bit and participate in some other forums, make it look a little less obvious what your intentions are here. Ironic you would compare someone to Goebbells with your post history.

What a stupid question. They live in an area that was called Philistine and is now called Palestine. That makes them Palestinian. I live in Glasgow so i am Glaswegian. It doesn't matter what the origin of the area called 'Glasgow' was or what it means in Gaelic, that's where i live so that's what i am refered to. I wasn't even born here but i still call myself Glaswegian.

Your intent is to somehow justify right of ownership by using the origins of a word is completely flawed.

Could you link in what sense "philistine" or "palestine" means trespasser? I though the hebrew term for trespasser was "boundary thief" or something like that, i.e. מסיג גבול (msyg gvwl), which has no connection to Palestine or Palestinian or Philistinian (פלשת or פלשתינה, flst or flstynh) at all, which would be derived from "immigrant", which according to my lexicon is because Philistines were "descendants of Mizraim who immigrated from Caphtor (Crete?) to the western seacoast of Canaan".

To answer your question, the arabs took on the term for the area they lived in. So just like the arabs in Syria call themselves suriy, even though the word is originally derived from Ancient Greek, or Egyptians call themselves masri (Egypt is called Misr in arabic and hebrew), even though the word is derived from an older source. Doesn't mean the ancient greeks have anything to do with the current Arab Syrians or Arab Egyptians.

Will watch your video later.

And why arent Ashkenazi Jews?

Are converts to Judaism, Jews? Are you aware that the word Yehudi (the Hebrew word for "Jew") means "he shall acknowledge" in reference to the nature of Judaism, which is acknowledgement of the one living G-d.

You dont seem to have much respect for what Judaism is. At its heart, it is a LAND CENTERED religion. When they are not living in Israel, and serving G-d in Israel (which includes many commandments inviolving the land of Israel, ie; the sabbatical year) they are said to be in Galut - Exile.

Not only that, but you generalize "all ashkenazi Jews arent Jews", implying that Sephardic Jews are the only real Jews. Meaning, those dispersed Jews of the Diaspora only migrated to Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Turkey and North Africa, but NOT to the Caucusus, Slavic countries, Balkans, and Western Europe. Nope. Because Ashkenazi are lighter skinned (although share common middle eastern features ie; big noses, which sephardim as well have), due to the climate theyve been living in, they cannot be Jews.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

You could have simply gone to wikipedia to see that the Hebrew Word פְּלִשְׁתִּים is derived from the root (as all words in Hebrew derive from 3 letter roots) פלש, which means "to divide, go through, to roll in, cover or invade".

en.wikipedia.org...

Also, prof. Eidelberg refers to the irony of their claiming Israel as their own, even though the very name theyve taken on is derived from a word that means "trespasser". Its a 2 minute video, btw. Wont take long too listen to.

And this isnt just some etymological fact either. It is well documented (in Joan Peters "from time immemorial", which scours through the many british/syrian records) that the vast majority of modern day arab "palestinians" came from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, the Hedjaz, and North Africa between 1917 and 1940. So they very much are "pelishtim" - invaders, who took those jobs that Jewish investment in the region intended for the Jews of Eastern Europe and Russia, who at the time were suffering the perseuctions of the Tzar. Because of illegal Arab immigration, and thus labor quotas being filled, the British reduced Jewish immigration quotas to well below where it was set. Thus, the Jewish state that should have come into existence well before 1948 (the belfour declaration stipulated that a Jewish state could be declared when the Jews became the majority in Jewish settled areas in palestine) had to suffer the horrors of the holocaust, because of being displaced, ironically enough, by those who today claim to have been displaced by the Jews.

I think I'll trust this blue letter bible lexicon a bit more than anything Joan Peters has to say on the matter.

Hey mr israel, what do you make of this then, are these guys anti semites aswell?

www.jewsagainstzionism.com...

True Torah Jews Against Zionism - Our Mission
The relatively new concept of Zionism began only about one hundred years ago and since that time Torah-true Jewry has steadfastly opposed the Zionist ideology. This struggle is rooted in two convictions:

1. Zionism, by advocating a political and military end to the Jewish exile, denies the very essence of our Diaspora existence. We are in exile by Divine Decree and may emerge from exile solely via Divine Redemption. All human efforts to alter a metaphysical reality are doomed to end in failure and bloodshed. History has clearly borne out this teaching.
2. Zionism has not only denied our fundamental belief in Heavenly Redemption it has also created a pseudo-Judaism which views the essence of our identity to be a secular nationalism. Accordingly, Zionism and the Israeli state have consistently endeavored, via persuasion and coercion, to replace a Divine and Torah centered understanding of our people hood with an armed materialism.

Text
We are NOT politically motivated. We are motivated by our concern for the peace and safety of all people throughout the world including those living in the Zionist state. We support and pray for peace for the people of the Zionist state but have no interest in and do not support the Zionist government.
We seek to disassociate Jews and traditional Judaism from the Zionist Ideology by:

* Providing historical and supporting documentation that Zionism is totally contrary to the teachings of traditional Judaism through the words of our Rabbis, Sages, and Holy Scriptures which oppose the creation of a state called Israel.
* Providing historical documentation on the ideaology and creation of Zionism, the supporters of Zionism and the negative impact of their actions on the Jewish people in the past hundred years, including their involvement in the holocaust up to the present day.
* Publicizing the efforts of traditional Jews to demonstrate that all Jews do not support Zionism, which is being ignored by the mainstream media.
* Convince the news media, politicians and the public to cease referring to the state of Israel as the "Jewish State" but to call it what it is: the "Zionist State".

It is our firm belief that when the state of "Israel" is recognized for what it is, a Zionist state which is not guided by the teachings of the traditional Jewish faith, Jews worldwide will be able to live in peace.

the vast majority of modern day arab "palestinians" came from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, the Hedjaz, and North Africa between 1917 and 1940

And the vast majority of modern day Jewish Israeli's came from Europe, Russia and USA after 1948.

So your point is exactly?? Oh yeah your point is that a Jewish immigrant arriving in the region AFTER an arab immigrant has more claim to the land somehow. Even if that land was bought and owned by the arab. Or that the people that were displaced from Palestine aren't Palestinians because they or their parents or even grandparents immigrated to that area from another country.

Well by that logic the Israeli Jews aren't Israeli then because they or their parents immigrated there from other countries.

Argument FAIL.

Seriously, your religious and racial bigotry is a huge

There was a question somewhere ?
Until you learn who are the “Neturei Karta”, who are the “Sikarikim”, how many of them exists and how extreme these dumb asses are, what are the other factions in Judaism and how they differ, than you got nothing to say on that subject.
And no, wikipedia alone is not enough as a source. So don't pretend to know something you absolutely have no knowledge about.

BTW, those extremists base their beliefs on the Talmud, that very same card that many like you use to portray Israel s evil. How convenient it must be to hold the stick on both sides when it suits you lot of hypocrites.
