Gadhafi asks Obama to end NATO bombing

Gadhafi asked Obama to stop the "unjust war against a small people of a developing country" and said those in the opposition are terrorists and members of al Qaeda, the official said.

"We have been hurt more morally than physically because of what had happened against us in both deeds and words by you," Gadhafi wrote, according to the official. "Despite all this you will always remain our son."

"You are a man who has enough courage to annul a wrong and mistaken action," the leader wrote to the president.

Is Gadhafi throwing in the towel?

Seems like NATO isn't taking this request too seriously. The article says that no negotiations of stepping down were included in the letter. I feel really bad for this guy and what is going to be pinned onto his shoulders through media lies and cover ups. I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of "fighting" for peace.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton rebuffed a personal appeal from Gaddafi to President Obama, saying the Libyan leader should impose a ceasefire, withdraw his forces and go into exile.

as in go to exile so that the west can steal all of the oil supply, its really not that hard to see that.

Where's the support, guys? We should be encouraging these kind of activities, why worry about the problems we have here at home, when there are things going on in other countries that we can spend money on? Our 14 trillion debt is going to fix itself, don't worry guys, we can just borrow some more money and spend it fighting a war that does not affect anybody in this country. Why get the troops out of the Middle East like Obama promised he would, when we can keep them there, and send MORE troops in to fight another war! One person clearly knows what's better for this country than the millions of people that live in this country, so relax, and let him do his job.

Probably not. He is making an appeal on behalf of his people for an unjust attack against his sovereign nation to end.

He is asking the savages who claimed to care about the people of Libya to stop ruining their lives and killing them to "save" them.

This Letter appears in the SBS news in Australia. CNN has skirted around the true contents of the letter, read this further and be Gob smacked!! Proof of an Obama Arab conspiracy affirmed by Gaddafi. (or clever ploy to cast doubt on obama)

Our dear son, Excellency, Baraka Hussein Abu oumama, your intervention is the name of the U.S.A. is a must, so that Nato would withdraw finally from the Libyan affair. Libya should be left to Libyans within the African union frame.

are you serious? the obama-arab conspiracy? Obama's first job out of college was for Kissinger...

Kissinger is a noted bilderberger, foreign policy guru, elitist...etc

The Bush family has extensive ties to middle east families.....W had the Taliban over for dinner at his ranch, flew the Saudis out of the US just after 9/11...etc etc etc

This is so much bigger than just an Obama issue....it is an elitist issue....

history will look upon the west with contempt over the aggressive action they have taken upon libya...and history will ask why we the people fell for the lies once again.

gaddafi was not a threat to any of us....and when you find that the british sold gaddafi anti demonstration weapons in feb this year,infact over $350 millions worth,it opens your eyes to the hypocrisy of all of this.
