Sounds about right, especially when you hear that Barack Obame is looking to "suck" 1 billion dollars from US citizens to try and get re-elected.

That is obscene to say the least.

I don't think its fair to constantly belittle our elected officials. They are selfless tireless workers for the people who have our best interests at heart.

We know they have our interests at heart because it is us the people who have given them theri position. This is how a republic works. Okay I couldn't say it with a straight face.

But this IS how a republic is supposed to work. Why is it not working?

Get out your mirror and take a look. All of us do the same and we have our answer.

It is a rule probably more unbreakable than the all the laws of thermodynamics: Those who are given power will abuse it without constant oversight by those who are giving them power.

We are lazy and don't want to bother with the tick spray...
