Michael Ignatieff is a snake who only cares about himself. Anyone who votes liberal in this election hates our happy/comfortable way of life. If Ignatieff becomes our leader I am moving out of the country. No joke.

As was stated by a talking head today, the Liberals campaign left and rule right. There is virtually no difference between those two parties and Harper's tight grasp on the inner cabinet that we see today would be a mirror of Iggy's own if he were to win.

Neither party are what I want to see win. That's deplorable because the NDP sank their canoe in Ontario as provincial leaders and although I like Layton as a person, I can't be forced to vote for them either. When in power, they were small-c puppet conservatives who's strings were being pulled by the likes of Maurice Strong *shudder*.

Maybe it will take a majority Conservative government to wake up the citizens of this wonderful country, I don't know.

Elizabeth May, bless her, is intelligent and knowledgable, but if she even gets one seat out of this, I'd be shocked.

Bottom line: I have to vote, but have no-one to vote for. It's a quandary I likely won't be out of right up until I've got that ballot in front of me, pencil raised and my brow knitted. I suppose I'll close my eyes, tap the pencil blindly on the sheet and X the closest box to it.

The Canadian people from what I gather are completely detached from reality these days. Spending sprees, going deeper in debt while your government lowers corporate taxes to a rate of 16.5%? I suppose the term tread lightly does not ring well in the cold and the winter Olympics gave the people mania. There is no other explanation in this volatile global economic environment to behave the way the citizens of Canada are as a whole.

To my understanding the Liberal party was the one that was running surplus' and knocking down your debt. Harper essentially spent all that money, as well, his party was found in contempt of parliament and spent 1billion on security for a G20 meeting amongst many other things; including treatise that directly impact Canadian sovereignty and purchasing fighters that are rather impractical for Canada.

The comment about raising the taxes on oil companies in the tar sands leaving the companies unable to expand development is one of the most asinine comments I have ever heard in my entire life. Have you even seen the profitability charts for the sands and how it relates to the current market price per barrel?

Harper is an ego maniac who from what I have seen, smirks at the people while he talks to them. He is as shifty as they come, and I am not just saying that because he was the Chair of Bilderberg.

"Iggy" as you refer to him was one of the most popular professors at Harvard I believe. His intentions are not really known and it is up to Canadians to decide for themselves what they want. He is for certain connected in the US.

Alternatively you have the Dictator Harper who is all for the corporation and was party to a group dedicated to privatizing the Canadian Health Care System.
