Attempts to plug a crack in reactor unit 2 at Japan's stricken nuclear plant were unsuccessful Saturday, and have left officials seeking new alternatives to stop the leakage of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean, the company that runs the plant said.

I guess I'll be avoiding seafood for the next foreseeable future.

Indeed... afraid to eat any from the Atlantic cause of the BP oil disaster, and now the Pacific is suffering cause of the 200 tons of radioactive water being dumped back into it on a daily basis.
