Retired salesman Dominic started getting followed by Maria [goose] on his walks around Echo Park and they have since developed a wonderful relationship! She waits for Dominic to show up on his scooter then they go for walks around the park and hang out at the benches.

Maria even gets jealous when other geese make their move on her man


This has to be one of the most amazing stories I've come across!




UPDATE: Maria has been moved to a zoo for 2 years while Echo Park is gets restored. She gets special visitation rights and Dominic comes to see her twice a week

S&F for you! I love these animal relationship stories. Hubby & I just watched and it reminded us of the recent thread about the kitten and crow who also bonded and followed each other around. Odd friends to say the least, but it seems to work quite well for them.
