In the 1920's there were photographs of fairies in someones garden that everyone thought must have been real.

These days there is so much technology I can produce a photo of Angelina Joile and make her look like Bruce Willis.

I've seen a photo someone 'took' of a half elephant and half zebra ... must be real aye!

Lens flares can cause duplicate objects to appear. Simple as that.

2nd line.

Looks like the reflection of someones bedroom lightbulbs in a window to me.

I have not read the whole thread so somebody else have probably mentioned it. But these things are most often just rocket plumes high up in the atmosphere (which is why they look strange). And in this case I believe it is from a three-stage rocket hence the three different plumes at different altitudes.

All this thread has proven is that no one will ever have 100% proof.
Technology has made that possible. Even the realest of the real can be fake.

I sigh'ed harder and harder as I visited each page of this thread saying to myself

"Someone's just going to keep saying how it could've been edited or manipulated with lens, no matter how real the event may be. Just close this and every other thread with a picture and youtube video while you're at it"

Looks like someone was shining a torch on the ceiling and taking photos of the reflection in the window.

Are you going to post what you think it is?
Or just bash everyone in the thread while providing no opinion of your own?

The shape of the light/lights is consistant with a torch pointed at a ceiling.

The thing that interests me...beside what it is ofcourse, is the color blue which seems to be present in all these weird events. Why this color...? What chemical elements cause this color blue when burning up. Or maybe the color is familiar to physicists.... Not that the answer to this question will solve the mystery but maybe it will give an idea about what direction to think in.

Any chemist around....?

Ok, I have been mistaken regarding of lens flare - I didn't check all photos.
So I don't think this is a lens flare from city light. But also I don't think this is some kind unusual phenomena.

Some people already have noticed that one photo clearly shows a corner of the room. So I did some work and here what we have:

Photo N 6 (source):

Enhanced version. See some strange elements under the lights? I think it's part of the living room:

Enhanced version with ceiling, corner and wall:

This is how I think it was created.

Enhanced version with first flashlight:

Enhanced version with second flashlight:

Enhanced version with both flashlights:

* * *

How about some "phenomena" over Toronto?
Created using Garrity Industries LED flashlight.

Now you see living room:

now you don't:

Just in case - THIS IS NOT A PHENOMENA, THIS IS MY PHOTO, CREATED USING FLASHLIGHT.

In short - I think Christchurch New Zealand Anomaly is a HOAX, created using 2 flashlight and probably laser point (last few photos shows some kind of red trails)

p.s.
Why images are hidden?

I promise to find the article but I just had to post this. When I was looking up information on HARRP it seems that bright orange like orbs have been seen where HARRP is involved. And that source was scientific. Not from a jr. detective like me. lol

I'll find the link and I'll be back..lol

If you set your monitor brightness to the highest level possible, you'll be able to actually see parts from the window where the photos were shot. Let me save you this effort, and post the images from photobucket with some Dynamic Range Equalization and lightened shadows:

Could it be a small to medium sized meteor(s) exploding in the upper atmosphere and breaking into smaller exploding pieces?

The red/blue colours could be the individual elements fluorescing under heat?

If not that, i don't know, no other ideas.

But it does look strikingly similar to a scene from the movie 'Star Trek Insurrection', when the simulation is run for the morphogenic ring 'collector' ship...it looked like three or more blue light disks, appearing one after the other on the surface of the rings surrounding the planet...looked like a stone skimming the surface of pond.

I'm going with the meteor theory until something else challenges that. (like a hoax using lights shining on a room ceiling, reflected in the window)

I'm giving the OP the benefit of the doubt, and not immediately claiming a hoax, but it does sort of look like a reflection in the window the more i look at it.

Cheers for posting OP, but if you've deliberately hoaxed these images, you're outta here.
