Has anyone covered the job of being on the Interweb applying for jobs and also doing their work? As in spreading ideas?

That's why I'm here.

I like to think that qualifies as a job, thinking you see a solution and trying from the heart to bring it about.

I hope others would agree.

I think you're right. It's more like 99%.

Job,what job?
I am a stay-at-home housewife and I like it!
I drink coffee all day, annoy others' on ATS...
What more can you ask for?

I should mention that I just finished canning
11 pints of strawberries and 7 1/2 pints of jam.
I am now washing a load of laundry, while I type.
I have washed all the dishes and still have to fold
laundry and vacuumn.
Then, there is dinner to cook, mop the kitchen...

Because we are paid disinfo agents so technically we have one, but can't disclose it.

Second.

Unless spreading ideas gets you a check every couple weeks to cash, it is a hobby.

For something to be a job you need to get something in return for your toils.

My job is a hobby and I love it. I agree though, a job needs to pay the bills.

What makes you think people are mostly unemployed? 97%? Seems high. Isn't the national rate 18-20%? I plan to be "unemployed" in a few months when I leave my current job for self-employment.

How about the elimination of poverty and the burgeoning of the arts and sciences? If I get that in return, I have done my job well. Regardless, it can never be said that I do not do my work with fervor and to the best of my ability. [smile]

Well shouldn't we all be rooting for that in our hearts? Perhaps?

And if we saw a way? With tools that we now have, we can become all elite - all Beings, Human or otherwise - and end both poverty and taxes. I give a high probability to death, too.

I mean, if you saw it wouldn't you want to not only put it forth but fight for it? I'm never One to say you must believe, but I will do my utmost to explain what I see as it relates to your questions.

So you're not trying to eliminate poverty, but I am. So? I have social conscience and...you don't? Is that what I'm getting here?

Well, I love you dearly. For you are me.

Poverty will never be eliminated, unless you plan on mass mind control. There will always be people with more than others. Fact of human existence.

List the years you have spent trying to "eliminate poverty". Just exactly how far have you gotten?

Me not being involved in a crusade of nuttery doesn't imply that I don't have a social conscience.

Are you trying to make anybody that is on this site and is unemployed inferior? Also , do you class self employed as not really employed at all ? What a pointless thread to be had at an inappropriate time...
Hey wouldn't it be great if 98% of people on here were bankers?

p.s I work fulltime in security operations. Great job making ATS look cheap to anybody that visited the homepage for new topics
