Nice talking points. Unfortunately they are inaccurate.

Of top 10 states with the highest unemployment rates, 7 of them are non-right to work states. The asteric indicates right to work

1. Michigan
2. Rhode Island
3, California
4. South Carolina *
5. Oregon
6. District of Columbia
7. Nevada*
8. North Carolina*
9.Georgia
10. Alaska

Of the ten states with the lowest unemployment, seven are right to work states

1. Wyoming*
2. North Dakota*
3. South Dakota*
4. Utah*
5. Nebraska*
6. New Mexico
7. New Hampshire
8. Iowa*
9. West Virginia
10. Oklahoma*

As far as illiteracy. 3 of the states with the highest illiteracy rates, or 60% are non right to work states

1. California
2. New York
3. Florida*
4. District of Columbia
5. Texas*

Also interesting that two of the top three states with respect to per student spending for public education are NY at $15,981/student and DC at $14,324/student and among the states with the highest illiteracy rates. It would appear that the public unions are serving those kids extremely well.

If someone presented you with enough money to start a business, where would you start it, Michigan or South Dakota?

This is only going to get worse. When the economy ultimately rebounds and it will, those states with lower unemployment are going to have their unemployment rates drop significantly faster than those with higher unemployment, that drop being normalized relative the current rate. Those states will also eliminate their deficits more quickly and what you will see is an accelerated migration from the rust belt to the South West and West and folks and companies leave this tired old, economically foolish model behind.

Hmmmm. South Carolina is a right to work state. And yet you list it as not.

Whose talking points are wrong? Ever been to SC?

No I didn't. The asterick indicates right to work.

Don't know what is going on in SC. They obviously have poor government. The listings, however are correct
