...Well, if you *do* happen to survive by following their instructions, I'd be sure to sue the chute-manufacturer afterwards. At the very least, get your purchase-price refunded. Make sure that you don't buy one of those "Polish Parachutes": Guaranteed to open on impact or double your money back.


Of course, if you were able to survive by following their instructions, it means that you weren't diving alone. If you were alone, then you'd either hope you can steer towards deep water & not bellyflop, arching your body after hitting the water so you immediately come back up to the surface...

...If not, Gazrok's advice is all you have left...
