It it called night flying. Lakenheath and Mildenhall units are regular night flyers and especially the Special Operations Group at Mildenhall. Again
check out the the likes of Fighter Control aviation forum. Note the monitoring of movements on the likes of Plane Plotter and SBS, etc. Also the
monitoring of the Air Traffic Control communications on the radio section.
