Dear Bill Gates

Dear Bill Gates and crew,

I really would like to know WHY you think your OS and everything else associated with Windows is sooooooooooo great. I have gained more gray hair and high blood pressure because of your dear Windows based computer. I am an AVID Apple fan but had to get a PC for school last year, which btw is now DEAD, motherboard went in a year oh and all the other issues I had with it didn't help either. Your system sucks! You have ALLLLLL this money and still make a crappy OS. I don't care what people say about PC's being better than Apple, I NEVER EVER had problems on either of my Apples and one was dropped on a tile floor and STILL worked just fine minus the screen and sound issues.

I hate your virus programs, they suck just as much as you beloved Windows. I never had to run any virus program on my Apple, EVER and I could download and watch whatever porn or video I wanted and it was safe. I NEVER got a virus or malware or any other type of spyware. My first day with my old pos Acer well I got a trojan downloading ONE song! FFS wth, can't you build your computers WITH anti-virus built in like Apple? Oh no you don't because you WANT people to get pissy and spend more and more of their hard earned money to fix their computers instead of having them already safe from day one. It's like them selling you a car without safety features and adding them when something happens. Yes Apple is more expensive but I will tell you what you do get your moneys worth and that is security! I dont want to have to install 10 different programs to keep my computer safe, it's BS and I have no idea how to use these programs and it doesn't help when the customer service people are in another country and can't speak English when I call. It's not fair to them and it's not fair to me as a customer.

You should take your billions and instead of putting it towards eugenics and funneling it thru your own organization put it into your crappy OS...Oh and Windows 7, nice rip off of Apple btw...nice try but FAIL!

What OS were you on when you typed this? I hate windows too, I'd rather have the MacBook Air. But I'm working towards a new keyboard. My crappy Windows XP Computer will not run anything at all because it is so old. Here is some links to the Keyboard I want... It's expensive...

Couldn't agree more....even though I have never had an apple. I maintain three pc's of my own, plus one each for my brother, mom, two sisters and a friend.... You probably don't like google either but I am completely excited about the android os. (gingerbread?)

Ohh, and btw...with a few trusty programs( not from microscoff, I might add) and a couple of tricks, you can have a decent experience with windows.

the tricks? keep the %temp% file empty. DO NOT USE LIMEWIRE. And be careful of which p@rn sites you frequent. not that i know....

haha I am on Windows XP, it is soooooo slow. I am using my roommates laptop since my motherboard pooped out. I will have my Macbook Pro in May, thank God! Yeah I can't do a lot of things because this thing is so slow. I have updated everything on it too. I can't listen to ATS live because for some reason it doesn't like the site

I had problems with viruses on my old one even though I had virus protection and malware and spyware protection.
I cleaned the cookies everyday as well.
It was still freezing and giving trojan notices so I took a baseball bat to it.(IT FELT GREAT!!!)
I go and get another one and in 2 months its finished.

My ps3 doesn't give me any problems oddly enough but I am limited in what it can do.
Its pretty bad when I feel more secure with a ps3.

I agree with the poster below me.....Bill Gates is a douchebag.

Last time I was at Best Buy I went over to the computer programs and games section.. There where 4243142 rows of pc programs, and maybe 2 of mac. Other than that yes I do hear Macs are way more reliable. But ill stick with my pc. And yes, Bill Gates is a douche.

I actually don't mind google. It's never really given me any trouble, I prefer it over bing which sucks lol

See the thing is I don't want to have to add "tricks" to make it work right, it should already work properly lol

I used Limewire on my Apple and NEVER had one problem and I literally filled my harddrive at one point downloading so much music and movies lol My bf couldn't believe I filled the harddrive.

Now I just download songs from an mp3 app on my droid and it's free I love it.

Android OS for a computer?? I like my droid phone A LOT and I actually switched from an iPhone, my friends thought I had gone crazy and lost my mind lol I still use my iPhone for music and other things but I actually like the droid better which was so hard for me to admit lol

Macs are not useless...It depends on what you want to use it for.

Yes, I used them often in grade school .. 20 years ago. Mac’s have absolute no software useful to about 95% of professionals.

You are basing your usage on gradeschool Apples? LOL They have changed A LOT since then.

I know many professionals who use and prefer Apple in their business esp graphics and design...They are the poo for that

PC's I will say are better for gaming, Apples are not really built for that but Im not a gamer so I dont care.

Whats really disturbing here is that someone has an actual corporate logo as a tattoo.

I'm wondering is this a sort of fake story and it is really some weird advertising of the product. Just putting out a story to get people talking about the product.

This is my rant, nobody said you had to read it...again if you knew me you would see the humor in my rant.

I'll probably get shot to bits for this but.....

I build my own PCs and I use windows 7 as an OS. Cant say I have any of the issues mentioned. The fact that your motherboard went tits up isnt a reflection on a bad OS, it was just a bad board.

Macs are good but I could never justify that amount of money for something that is achievable so much cheaper on PC.

This current home built PC is on its second year of running and so far, no virus, no faulty components and simply a joy to use.
