Dennis Kucinich - End the Wars NOW

"Are we ready to give up our entire domestic agenda so that we can continue on the path of a war to prop up a corrupt regime whose friends are building up a Villa in Dubai presumably with money that comes from the United States. Where are we going to get the money for these wars? Are we gonna cut social security, health care, and funds for education?" remarked Dennis.

One of the reasons why he couldn't make much of a mark in the Elections is because he made the unthinkable mistake of speaking the Truth instead of saying all the "politically correct" stuff that your current President is so good at. During one of the primaries, he mentioned that he once had an odd experience where he sighted a UFO (UNIDENTIFIED flying object) in the sky. The media and his opponents just ran with the story and ridiculed him as a freak. Also, any one who is against Wars or not an outright Israeli supporter CANNOT be the President of the United States. That's just the way things work here. The people here can put up their pathetic little show that they voted, but they don't have a say. They are just spectators.

Next to Ron Paul he is my favorite of the handful of politicians that are worth a dime.

There might be hope yet......but IMO both parties have their "token" Libertarians

While Paul and Kucinich are close friends and share similar points of view on foreign policy and civil liberties, they stand far apart on many of the social policies like health care and social security. But, at least, they have strong principles that they stand behind.

Yes, the wars need to be stopped! Does anyone remember when George Bush II ran for president? One thing he said that made me vote for him was, "We are not going to be the world police". I won't go into everything that happened after, but you guys know. Now we have Pres Obama who ran on the platform of ending the wars, closing GITMO and now we are taking out the government of Lybia. We can't continue to be the world police and still fund our government. Hopefully our elected officials who represent us will stop the madness!

It is true they are far apart in some aspects, but really their heart is in the same place. Ron Paul wants to help people help themselves. Kucinich recognizes that some people will always take more and deny others less and these people should still have the right to certain standards of life. While their methods are far apart in how the government handles this, their aim is the same. That people should have a better standard of life. They should not be robbed blind at every turn and have a government that throws away their money while turning their backs on the people that need help the most. Our policemen of the world mentality is what got us in debt. The social and welfare costs of the nation are a tiny fraction of our budget concerns. They can come up with a trillion or two dollars for corporations but stop short of a 10 billion dollar extension of unemployment benefits that helps people for a couple extra months. If we stopped the wars and put our troops to good use inside our country we could get right back on track.
