Name calling aside, he's partly right on why there won't be a draft. It would never work.
If there's a draft when we don't need one, for a wildly unpopular war, there would be soldiers killing each other more than the enemy. The only way a draft would work would be if the country was somehow united in agreement. The only thing I can think of that would cause that would be us being invaded or a real WW3 broke out and threatened our way of life.
You try to force a draft and all hell will break lose.


As far as the rest of his rant...he loosely quoted from one of the funnier parts of the movie Team America....

How many times does Bush have to say he isn't for a draft and won't have a draft?!?

I'm a Merchant Marine, I work for the government and I whole heartedly support Bush and our troops. Just like most troops support bush!!! The troops are votong for bush yet you liberal nutters who know whats best for everyone else, seem to think the troops would be better off with a different president. go figure

How in the HECK (I'd really say what's running though my mind, but the censor won't let me) do you get off insulting one of our best and longtime allies? Any idea of the accomplishments of the Auusies on the battlefield? They are in no way inferior. As a matter of fact, our special teams train with their special teams and pick up as many tips as they give.

The draft is stupid. I'm sure Kerry doesn't understand as he was in the Navy for himself and only for himself, but everyone else knows that the volunterr army is the only way to go. There is no reason in the world to take a bunch of whining, protesting whimps and toss them into an outfit of professionals. That'll do no good.

Well, there'd be one bit of good. A lot of yellowbellies will strike north for the border. Once they went there, seal the border and shoot them if they try and return for any reason.
