It is a fact that we must keep in mind at all times. But recently, our moronic leadership has been practically 'giving' them stories to report by refusing to report them here....

My, how the worm turns.....

This is a plain and simple example of the golden rule. He who has the gold makes the rules!!! We the people have no voice. Divide we stand, the only way to get these people out of office is to vote them out, but who will do their job the way we need it done? The only one I've seen is Ron Paul that wants to end this madness. We the people need a type of communication that will be seen and understood by all, to let everybody know who can be trusted in these positions. We have to come together and put these crooks behind bars. They don't have a problem putting the rest of us there. Seeing how one in a hundred in America is in jail already. The MSM isn't going to be reliable! Any ideas?

I'll bite.

What we need is precisely what our current marketplace seems designed to resist... we need to BE A COMMUNITY.

No more spending hours on end watching fantasies on TV. Instead, go across the street, see if your neighbor needs help with any chores. See that little girl, go get mom and dad and invite hem all over for a lemonade and talk about school.

Tell mom and dad all the things you've learned since last week. Call your brother or sister, and see how they are doing.

Invite 3 or 4 our your neighbors over to exchange ideas for a community garden. Find out who at work lives near you and carpool with them.

Community is about extending the common experience of your world with those of the people around you.

That is the beginning of the solution. There is no magic bullet. taking the "bad guys" out is unrealistic because they have already lined up the next three generations of our serfdom.

It won't change until we all talk about it. Talking about it is the start of creating the next American community... the one that isn't a plaything for the self-appointed elite.

I have more respect for drug dealers than those that work on Wall Street, bankers, politicians, etc.

Unfortunately maybe that is what is needed. Maybe we citizens need to band together en masse and physically burn wall street to the ground in order to finally get heard.

Ok I've lurked these boards for a while but this post pushed me over the edge to actually join. I can't tell you how much I agree with what you said. I've had this overwhelming desire to start working with people to enjoy more of a self-sustaining life. I've been telling everyone lately that in 2 years the US is going to be in a COMPLETE, irreversible, downward spiral (if it isnt already) or people are going to have banded together and starting living, how I like to call it, like Tech-Amish. People are so far removed from the way I remember life growing up......and I'm only 31! I'm in somewhat of a transitional period in my life, got married just less than a year ago and we are expecting our first child in July. I'm really looking forward to taking some of the things I've learned lately and putting a plan in to action to work with people in more of a communal way and do away with what the media and society consider "necessities"

I'm sorry to report that they will soon take the internet from us...as we know it. This is their next target.

Thanks for posting this.
I was not aware of this either, and will spread it around, since it is clear the MSM is bought and paid for.

Yeah, I dont know what is worse, the crap propaganda they throw at us, or the fact that they conceal from us anything that might actually be of political interest to us.

Or the army of shills on the internet. Lets not forget those. March has been full of them.

Lobby is nothing but legal bribery. If I went to DC and started putting money, trips, gifts to politicians hands I would go to prison. There should not be Lobbist in DC because they do not represent the people of the United States, they represent themselves and their companies. That is Corperations dictating Government. Wall Street is nothing but an illegal Casino, and has been since they started sell "puts" and "Shorts". Because of that the entire Market is manipulated.

This is not about Americans rising up against wall street. It's about public unions decrying the fact that they might have to pay a portion of their health care and bemoaning the fact that there $100K salary + benefit packages are being scrutinized by the public. The demonstration you are seeing was orchestrated by the unions and does not represnt mainstream America at all. It is not "spontaneous." It was ordeered by the union bosses.

the "Great Awakening" is the fact that mainstream Americans are finally realizing how screwed they have been by the public unions in the first place. It's about time that ordinary citizens rose up and informed public servants that they are our employees and we are not their servants.

I'm giving you a star and flag for that comment alone.

The OP asked how to find out about rallys.

I'm new here so don't know what the rules are etc - but I would suggest that if you are not allowed to publicize them on ATS, try to hook up with other ATS members in your local area/country/state whatever via facebook or other such mediums.

After all - the Egyptian government overthrow was credited to facebook. You cant even talk about palestine of facebook they are so fearful of upsetting the pot. Why cant the same be done in the US/UK/AUSTRALIA etc is what I want to know.

Right on! S & F for this one.

I want to see more and more of this going down. It's time the government got back to serving the people, and not the corporate blood suckers who pay them off while they all look down on us as livestock. We the people are the backbone of this nation, and it's time we made that clear.

The only problem with this is that they won’t identify the Republicans as the chief evildoers in all this.

They aren’t the only ones, because many democratic politicians are also being puppets for the rich, but the Republicans are ALL puppets for the elite and are passing laws RIGHT NOW that will impoverish us.

The first thing to do is get rid of ALL REPUBLICAN CONSERVATIVES, then we may have a chance!

The assumption that "Republicans" harbor more wealth than Democrats is a myth. Do a little research and you will soon find out that it's a myth that the Democrats are more than happy to keep alive. If you look at the wealth in the Senate and Congress alone, it varies from year to year but the Democrats frequently win out. In the private sector, well can you say George Soros? And many, many CEO's of large corporations will change their vote from one election cycle to the next based on what the candidates claim they will do for Corporate America or which candidate is on the take.

I'll say it again; we need to stop dividing this crap along partisan lines! People, they are all on the same team. They talk like we have a choice but they are on the same team and we the people are on the other team. Take off your partisan goggles and throw them in the garbage. Trust me on this, the sooner America wakes up and takes notice that NOBODY in Washington is on our side, to sooner we can take this country back.

I would say the reason there hasn't been one word about it on main stream news is because the wall street is one of the sponsors for the propaganda which is our news.

SPONSORS????? HECK the BANKSTERS OWN the news media!

U.S. Congressional Record February 9, 1917: J.P. Morgan interests bought 25 of America's leading newspapers, and inserted their own editors, in order to control the media. www.mindfully.org...

JP Morgan: Our next big media player? (April 13, 2010) JP Morgan controls 54 U.S. daily newspapers, and owns 31 television stations. www.newsandtech.com...

That is ONLY JP Morgan! There is also all the interlocking board of directors.

Media Conglomerates, Mergers, Concentration of Ownership: www.globalissues.org...

Who controls the media www.nowfoundation.org...

Anyone interested in how the USA was and still is screwed by the Banksters, I put up several of posts at the thread: Unions and the Truth by OLD HIPPY DUDE

There maybe some stuff you guys have not seen yet.
