There is no legal or moral reason prostitution cant be legal.

For one a Woman is allowed to do what she wants with her body...AKA abortion.
So she is allowed to abort a fetus...but not collect funds for sex while conceiving the fetus she is allowed to legally abort lol

So why not campaign to to allow a woman to be able to sell her body how she deems fit?
Its her body and she legally via the abortion bill to do what ever she wants to it.
And selling her body for sex as a viable source of income should be allowed period!!!

So in short...Prostitution should be legal in every state abortion is..

Any society that would legalize mass murder of pre-born children really should not have a problem with prostitution. However, imo, two wrongs don't make a right.

It's already legal in most states...it's called marriage.......

There is tremendous moral reasoning why it should be kept illegal, and society should shun those who partake in the act. The more partners the average individual has over their lifetime, the weaker our species becomes, because the potential for spreading pathogens increases. I'm not even going to mention how prostitution breaks up a good many families. The line of reasoning you present is merely naive at best, and downright criminal at worst. Think it through. Peace.

based on your morals. Why exactly should your morals be the governing factor here? As for the weakening of the species, well, all one has to do is point you toward any of the number of places where it is legal and well regulated to prove you wrong there.

I agree -- all of the supposed objections (those not based on matters of consensual sexual morality, which can only be personally, not legally, regulated anyway) are actually issues of workers' rights that apply to anyone who sells their labor in a potentially risky market. Men work jobs where their lives and health are put in danger every day, but we don't make the jobs illegal on that basis. Because prostitution is largely a female profession, and because we can't think about sex without completely losing our collective mind, we perceive it as special or different when really all jobs involve exploitation and regulatory failures.

I tell you what, if this opens up jobs for the millions of Americans who have no job and can't get one I am all for it!! We have big problems is the United States with unemployment and homeless, and if this opens up jobs in which people are willing to work this way, why not??? No moral reasoning will make you disagree with how many jobs were lost in the world, and how many homeless are out there.
