Lets see, OJ was sentenced on unlawful restraint to spend the better part of the rest of his life on a staged setup where he was he was getting his own belongings back. What do you think will become of this act of kidnapping?

This is from FOX, are we sure that they don't have this story wrong and the reporter was in the closet and he came out to Biden's staffers?

Huh. They locked him in the closet. Sound like a joke.
Or that south park Tom cruise episode.

I'm calling shenanigans on this one. Why lock a reporter in a closet knowing the FIRST thing they're going to do is report it?? (and it's coming from FOX News)

OJ was found liable in the wrongful death (civil lawsuit) of his ex-wife after being found innocent of the murder (criminal lawsuit) of said ex-wife and her friend.

There was absolutely no conspiracy on the part of TPTB. OJ totally did it and planned it beforehand.

As for Biden, it is patently wrong and sloppy to compare locking a reporter in a closet to murder/wrongful death.

He was given his note pad and pen a chair and even a table. What else would you need for reporting. He was not invited to the party to mingle just report on what Biden had to say and he was allowed to do that.

Biden Team Apologizes to Reporter for Sticking Him In Closet
March 27, 2011 3:44 PM
Scott - You have our sincere apologies for the lack of a better hold room today," wrote Vice President Biden spokeswoman Elizabeth Alexander last Wednesday to Orlando Sentinel reporter Scott Powers.

"Lack of a better hold room" is an interesting way of putting it. In order to keep Powers from mingling with guests at a Democratic fundraiser last Wednesday, Powers was escorted into a storage closet by a Biden staffer.

I'd like to know about who this is. To me it sounds like harassment of the new guy, a "joke", or something of that nature. When I was in school, freshmen would get tossed in the lake by seniors, a tradition or something to that effect.

From what I read earlier, it wasn't the captive that reported it. So...who did?

Sounds like Scott doesn't think it was as big of deal as Fox does. blogs.orlandosentinel.com...

TeI was kidnapped. That was news to me. My paper and I conspired to cover this up, to protect Vice President Joe Biden and his staff from charges they had imprisoned me at a fundraiser last week. That was news to me too. In fact, a lot of details circulating through the blogosphere — and into some mainstream media — about my coverage of Biden’s fundraising visit to a Winter Park home last Wednesday were news to me. Take a couple details of information, toss them into the Internet and it can become like a child’s game of telephone — with each rendition adding spin and details. Only in this politically-charged environment, those spin and details can crystallize toward scandal. That’s especially true when it involves the vice president of the United States in an administration that has enraged a segment of American society. Here’s what happened. I showed up at the private home of developer, philanthropist and political contributor Alan Ginsburg Wednesday morning to file a pool report on the visit there by Biden and U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Orlando. When I arrived I was told I would not be able to speak with any of the people at the party, and that I was to wait in a room until Biden and Nelson arrived. I went in willingly, with the understanding that I was free to leave — but if I left I’d probably have to leave the house entirely, and not get to cover the speeches.xt

Read his latest blog on his employer's website. He is a veteran reporter:

I think a lot of "somebody's" are trying to make a big deal out of nothing.

Powers will be on "Good Morning America" tomorrow morning to discuss the matter if you are interested.

You guys aren't looking at this from the standpoint of the anti-Obama crowd.

Innocent reporter just trying to make ends meet is viciously grabbed by Biden's goons. Shoved into a deep dark pit, forced to eat nothing but rice, while he's water boarded AND converted to Islam by Obama.

That's the fun of the anti-Obama crowd, as long as it makes Obama look bad, it doesn't matter if it's true or NOT!

You can write up anything, anything at all, as long as it paints this president in a bad light, these people will believe it to be the gospel truth.

The real fun begins when Obama does something that these people are actually for, they start tripping all over themselves back peddling the issue!

Hell, most of these people believe he was born in Kenya, many of them actually believe he is the Anti-Christ, some even think that he is simultaneously a fascist AND a socialist.

Please save the low brow comments until you have actually created one of your own threads or written a post longer than one sentence. Until then, nothing but a troll.

It is very apparent that Biden's staffers were all working to keep this reporter quiet. The guy should have created a a much larger stir at the time. I certainly would have.

So much for freedom of the press. Then again this administration has an established history of playing press favorites or even bypassing he entire press pool completely. They could care less about the press. They would rather twitter blast their own controlled news stories and statements.

No heavy questions to worry about and especially no questions of accountability regarding past statements regarding Presidential war actions and impeachment.

That means you Biden!!!!

Read the thread.

In the Drudge Report story, there's a picture. It's not a closet, it's a room. There are windows. The reporter freely waited in the room until it was his time to talk with the people there. Biden wasn't even there when it happened!
Whatukno is right.

I think they waterboarded him and then ate his children while he was "locked" in this room!
Damn Obama!
