and why exactly is everyone looking at our sun to see this??

Something visible from the South Pole would be visible across the entire Southern Hemisphere.

That's basic astronomy and geography.

Originally posted by heineken the point of this thread is.. that NASA's main debunking statement is that AMATEUR ASTRONOMERS WOULD HAVE ALREADY DING DONG THE BELLS and i have my doubts that amateur astronomer can not be able to see it yet

that wasnt NASAs main debunking statement........its MINE, and you cannot prove that im wrong..........because most likely im right.......

And like another person posted, and like i have before, anything of that size would have either destroyed our solar system or the two stars would have been sucked into each other by now, just because of sheer magnetic pull.........either way same end result.......

No im not with NASA , im not even an astronomer........im just a guy with some common sense and a little critical thinking skills

you cant contradict me here

Venus is very faint and difficult to locate with a telescope during daytime...;

No, it's very easy to locate during the daytime.
Especially if you have a goto mount, just punch in the coords and it finds it for you.

Well, I'll use your logic for a second.

Polaris, the North Star, is only visible from the North Pole!

Except it isn't. Anyone, anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere can see it.

No-one in the Southern Hemisphere can.

There are also certain constellations, like Eridanus, Crux, Grus, Centaurus and Octans, that can only be seen in the Southern Hemisphere.

So anything visible from the South Pole would be visible across the Southern Hemisphere. Again.

I think that you should use your critical thinking skills a bit more ...
