First many people consider it inapropriate to call native Americans indians. Its politically uncorrect. And we didn't buy that much land from them. For the most part we just massacered all the inhabitants. Thats not something to be proud of but sadly thats how we got most of our land. Were not to bad on the ground but I admit were definatly not the best. Our air force is pretty good. We were about even with the Russians so I would call it a tie. As far as subs go the Russian subs were a bit better. But the rest of the USN is the best in the world. The RN might have better training but overall were very formidible in the seas.

Hawks china is welcomed to sell to those countries but they wont risk getting the US angry cuz we make up 30% of its economy and they wont risk any more treaties pushed by the US that would restrict countries from buying and selling to china

Here we go again. Yes, China's economy is dependent on the US, but so is the US's economy dependent on ours. We are the 2nd largest US creditor in the World and our market is virtually propping up many US companies (not all, but quite a few). Last Thursday's Wall Street JOurnal has an article on it: GM now sells more Buicks in China than it does in the US year to date. This is an irriversible trend and we will become more and more inter-dependent so you should stop saying "oh we will just cut off trading with them" because if that happens, we both will suffer. Maybe China suffers a little more than the US does, but US will definitely suffer too.

Thats why I fail to see why people are so worked up about the US selling arms to the Taiwanese. They should be able to defend themselves and thier way of life.

It is a basic human right to defend yourself regaurdless of your political veiws. If the Tiwianese want to be part of China so be it, let them reunite. If they dont let them have the means to protect them selves.

you build the best jets huh? so thats why u stole our supersonic jet, the german jet program, the british airbus idea which looks remarkably like a boing 747. should i carry on? also russia has decent tech just no money give them money and they'd match you in tech.

What supersonic jet are you refering to? What british airbus idea? Please supply the links for these acusations. In as far as the Russians go, when thier military had all the money they wanted, they lagged waaay behind in technology and spyed for what they needed. Int he 80's, besides Project RYAN, the KGB's main focus in the US was industrial spying.

Only so many spearfish to go around besides we are not going to war with you anytime soon eh? Besides there is more to subs than having a few torps that have speed. The spearfish is an awesum torp, topping out at 80 knots, but the Mr48 ADCAP has newer electroics, and greater range. You can be as fast as all get out, but if you cant reach your target game set match. Can't comment on the manuverability issue. The Russian Navy is in such a state of disrepair that the flagship Peter the Great had to be docked. An admiral said the reacor could go at any minute. So much for the Russian Navy

Hmm but Taiwan is an ally is it not? During the cold war, the Warsaw Pact viewed England as the enemy, we still sold weapons to you as I recall.

Going back, Germany viewed England as a enemy during WWII, still sent alot of weapons before we entered the war.

enough info keep looking back every so often and the info will increase.
also we only have like 7 or 8 subs our the now so much for being the senior service and getting the best tech.

actually they only viewed as an enemy when we attacked hitler wanted to try and make peace with us at first then changed his mind after we just kept fighting.

Devil but ground battles include more than just tanks and humvees and battle field missiles you know that jets helicopters drones UAV's would be used. Also devil those sam sites they wont be there for long when
B-2's start dropping PGMs and im talking about a battle front not the after war invasion of china the US has no intentions to invade china im just saying if Chinas army invades Taiwan the US would mop the floor with china. Also devil im not trying to say that Britain's military is bad im just saying that even a navy the size of Britain could beat china in the water. There is a difference between a bad military and a small military.
