Growing Syrian Unrest

I am uncertain if this has been touched on yet. The other day there was a discussion on a list of presumed targets listed for future US attack. One of the biggest questions was why Syria and how would we get involved there. Unfortunately I ran across this as I logged in today.

DAMASCUS, Syria — Troops fired on protesters in several Syrian cities Friday and pro- and anti-government crowds clashed on the tense streets of the capital in the most widespread unrest since protests began in recent weeks, witnesses said.

Wanna take odds on how long it is going to takes us to "assist"?

It will take us as long as it takes Assad to slaughter thousands of his own people.

Soon as he does that, the State Dept. will push heavily on the POTUS to take some kind of action.
