Hi Sauron, thanks for the welcome. I've spent hours now trying to figure out how all your gadgets and stuff work. I discovered the explanation for W, and F, and S., but - how are ATS points calculated/earned? What is the Karma score?
Is there a thread that explains all that stuff?

Thanks much very!! It's a little hard to figure out how the site works from the menus at the top. It will take some learnin' to get totally ATS fluent, I see. Which is good, as it should certainly discourage haters and one-worders and those who just want to be noticed. So glad to be here I got up before dawn just to see what's up!

I found it really complicated when I joined (I still don't know how half of it works) adding Images etc took me a while and I didn't even notice the 'ex-text', "quote" etc buttons for ages!

Funny you should mention this, because lately I've noticed that every where I go. There I am.

What a smart young lady you are. You just signed up to one of the best information exchange sites on the web.
Of course there 's a lot of mud to wade thru. But you learn to do that rather fast around here. You're right to not feel alone anymore because the people on this site will have your back, any time you choose. I love this place and hope you enjoy the vid I use to try and hold back some of that mud.

Actually I've been here for over 9 months now...I just got that recent response to my intro, by someone who saw me on another thread, who went to my profile..so I replied to it. But, hey, it's a nice unexpected "bump" !

I appreciate the gesture, and have found a few ATS members who DO have my back!

Actually, my ancestry IS from there (Finland), as well as the UK, German Russians, and Ireland....
yup. Blue-eyed blonde. I did visit Norway several years ago, and fit right in, until I opened my friendly American mouth!!

I hope GOD does exist: for the last, say, 20 years I've leaned toward the Taoist version of all of us being connected and part of the Divine. If I find out that it really WAS Ancient Aliens, and when we die we are just poof-gone, I'm gonna be P# OFF bigtime, and really disappointed.

i agree, although
it is a very big, and very complicated universe ( multiverse???), that we live in,
and who is to say what is possible or not...

having said that, i was born into the usual (?) western style "catholic" upbringing,
and havent really seen too much to sway me from believing in GOD...

we have ALL dug our own holes (mostly),
and we have the future that our pasts have led us to...

i just dont like seeing people blame GOD for all their problems...

i like the idea that we are all connected... it would explain a lot of dejavu etc...

and yes i do reply,
but i took a holiday from ATS and just back from three month self imposed "ban"...!!!
just been checking the daily "headlines", opening the odd thread or two just to check content of "claim"...
and bailing again...

in fact i been trying to use internet less and less...too many "fakes".... + not just while shopping!
