Yes.

G. Edward Griffin discusses them in these two PDFs. They are well worth the read.

Part 4: The War on Terrorism: www.freedomforceinternational.org...

You can find the rest of the links to the first two PDFs and other info here: www.freedomforceinternational.org...

I don't know how anyone would be surprised by this.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if I could say I was surprised by this. Your founding fathers would be disgusted by this. I'm Canadian but I have always loved what they were trying to do. It crushes me to the core that "The Great Experiment" has failed so spectacularly.

Wait wait wait. Tell me I am reading this wrong.... They would shoot at people with deer rifles because they were non union... I hope I am reading that wrong lol.

No you are not.

The Unions can be brutal.

My Dad had the crap beaten out of him by union thugs and the lives of his family threatened. That is why we were forced to move over 500 miles away from where we lived near my grandparents and the rest of our family.

My father made the mistake of organizing a union in his company. The big boys moved in and throw him out - literally and took over the union he had formed.

Wow... sounds like the maffia to me...

It is or at least the guys my Dad ran into.

Remember the movie The Godfather? Well one of my best friends is related to the REAL Godfather the movie portrayed. He is also the one who woke me up to all this stuff many many years ago

There has always been an issue with the "Big Boys" union leaders. When they were initially formed the unions had no power and were literally being beaten down and killed by the police and government thugs (look up the founding of unions in the US). The Mafia "kindly" offered to be the muscle for them for a "small" fee. Since them the big guys, have continued to take the money from them but the "muscle" has only been applied to union members for the last few decades.

It's deplorable in my opinion. The big guys use to kidnap and torture the rich business owners (I don't agree with violence, but at the time it was effective). As much as I agree with the concept of Unions, I'm not very sure that the union leaders actually represent the workers anymore. Just another form of greed and control. We need to get back to the spirit of issues instead of allowing the greed of the rich.

I agree with you totally. Thats why me and my wife are going to try to get out while we can. Canada is our last choice to migrate to, solely because its too close to the US..lol

I have done a lot of studying on the law, and there is a lot of great information on the law here on ATS.

I would never hire an attorney, and I have beaten up a couple pretty badly with the things that I know about the law.....

I agree.

Never trust a lawyer. I have gone through as many as five to find a reasonable one.

Also make sure you head for the library and do your own law research or YOU WILL be taken to the cleaners or jail!

Lawyers are in it for the MONEY. That means they want to charge big bucks for the fastest easiest way to get the case settled. THIS is never in your best interest.

How are we free when we are forced to spend our time and money as a government dictates to us?

I just ran across a great little article that addresses that very subject.

2009– Year of the Slave

You are a slave. You probably do not realize it, but you are...

So, what is a slave? How do we define a slave? What test do we use to tell if someone is a slave. What makes them different from free people?

Free people can say “no”. Free people can refuse demands for their money, time, and children. Slaves cannot. There is no freedom without the freedom to say “no”. If someone demands that you do something and you can say “no” and refuse to do it, then you are a free human being. If you can be forced to do something or surrender something that you do not wish to, then you are a slave. No other test need be applied....

When you are forced to surrender half your life’s work to the government in ever-increasing taxes, then you are a slave. Throughout history, slaves were expected to perform the work needed for their own upkeep, then perform additional work for the rulers. For Roman slaves, the ratio of work-for-self versus work-for-rulers was about 50-50. The same ratio applied to Medieval Serfs, and even to the slaves of the American south. And, when you add up all the overt taxes, covert fees, tariffs, excises, plus the increased price you pay for products to pay the taxes of the companies that make those products, you will find that Americans are at that same “half-for-self” versus “half-for-rulers” ratio! [last I figured it out my tax burden was 64.5% in 1987]

Can you say “no” to the confiscation of half of your life?

Can you even get the masters to maybe reduce the burden by a significant amount?

No? Congratulations. You are a slave....

...The rulers want your children for their future wars. Legislation for a draft is already in Congress. Can you refuse the confiscation of your children?

No? Congratulations. You are a slave.

whatreallyhappened.com...

The rest is well worth the read - AND BOOKMARK IT!

It sure seems to be failing but then again maybe this supreme test is meant to be part of the experiment.

It's kind of like giving a teenager a new car, maybe they know how to be responsible with it, maintain the fluids, check the oil, keep it washed and waxed and the tires rotated, drive carefully and cherish it.

Maybe they don't.

Maybe it takes them a while to learn to appreciate it and treat it right and do the right things.

Time will tell, but I am sure glad I already have a Canadian Social Security Card too from misbegotten youth as a rock drummer.

I always send the Queen a Birthday Card!

Thanks for posting friend.

What a bunch of worms! Talk about manipulating a situation in their favor. It is stuff like what the article is about and that mock Ed Koch phone call that is really placing Governor, Scott Walker, in a bad light. Now, the government employee collective bargaining situation has been debated quite extensively, and that is for another time. Still, an Indiana prosecutor actively pressuring a governor to stage a crime for a political agenda?

Why am I not surprised, both sides are guilty of it. The myriad of corruption and manipulation of the political system spans far and wide. We have horse trading, patronage, special influence of lobbyists, bribes, and yes apparently 'false flags.' The politicians have no shame, and the new crop continues to get dirtier and slimier. I am glad this prosecutor has stepped down, and hopefully he is charged with a crime. Being a law officer he should know better than to even imply committing a crime of any kind. Moreover, I am glad this did not happen, but it ought to be a wake-up call to everyone voting these cleans in that it is high time to remain ever vigilant and watchful of of our politicians. Great find, Proto!

This story really causes the "Yeah, yeah, it's just another conspiracy theory" crowd to go take a hike and never return. Cya. Bye bye. Got it? Never again. Don't you EVER DARE tell me again that false flag operations are not a part of the real world. THIS is what we can expect of the "trusted" in power. They'll do ANYTHING. They just don't give a crap. Operation Northwoods. Gulf of Tonkin. 9/11. Now this. Tell me, what in the heck is the difference? It's what they've always done, and it is what they will KEEP ON DOING until you in the military point the guns at THEM. And get rid of the @#$#@$@#$'s.

I've always had a problem with not being able to express my feelings

In the old days, unions were a good and VERY necessary thing. Like all things, they get fat, stupid, lazy, and greedy. Then they were coopted by socialist/communists. Bad juju.

On the other hand, if HONEST business could form a honest group without all the alphabet unions I'd be totally onboard with that.

Problem is when you have janitors making $20 an hour for nonskilled labor (they clean toilets
), and then scream about not getting paid enough, we have an issue.

Want to make good scratch? Learn a REAL trade or do as you did, become a business owner (god help you).

People get what they deserve by doing the jobs they do. I'm an HVAC guy and keep a roof over my head. If I were a brain surgeon, I'd keep a few roofs over my head. In this screwed up economy, I'm just damn proud to have a job right now. 2000 people are waiting on everyone of us to get out of the way.

I agree with you. We all have different goals, in fact, I'm more of a green myself, but I also believe in gun ownership and fair trade (not free trade). We have to agree to a fair, honest discourse with mutual respect for each others' differences. Backroom deals, underhanded tactics; this crap doesn't help anybody and just furthers the distrust between government and the people. The government is supposed to be representative - it is supposed to be by us and for us. It's clearly not composed of people like you and me, real people living real, hardworking lives - and they are certainly not working for us. If politicians acted like statesmen again, we'd all be better off. This is all just a game to them.

I completely agree on all points friend!

Politically, I'm an independent conservative but can lean libertarian on somethings.

I apologize. I've just stumbled upon this thread and have not yet had the time to read it.

I'm from Wisconsin. The latest development (subject of the OP) is quite shameful. Glad dude's gone.

If Walker was dumb enough to follow along and orchestrate something like this, the funny thing is that there would have been a number of members here crying foul, saying that it was a false flag meant to inflame emotions.

I love this place.

I'd simply like to point out that, while the prosecutor in Indiana who proposed this needs a long stay behind bars,

Gov. Walker did not act on any of it, so I don't see how he can be held responsible for the suggestions of some wack job prosecutor from Indiana.

Seeing things like this.....complete and credible proof of the absurd level of corruption our government is infested with.....makes you wonder how anyone could doubt or say that things like assassinations, high level cover ups and purposeful manipulation are not an every day occurance in politico land.

If they will stage false flag attacks to trick the populous and even suggest using live ammunition against American citizens....it shouldn't be so difficult to fathom that they would also crash jet liners into the World Trade Center or poison us all with chemtrails and flouride.

I never put anything sneaky, filthy and underhanded beneath the likes of a scum sucking politician.

Yeah sounds about right. When republicans cry about constitutional freedoms they mean just for them and the rest of us can piss off.

I could care less about Walker, that's the people of Wisconsin's problem.

What I care about is exposing the kinds of tactics being employed by some of our public officials and the very sinister, amoral and evil nature of them.

Simply to enhance people's awareness that such vile people exist, and they want to rule and control and gain more power through such dishonest manipulations.

Because you are stuck in the left/right political paradigm you can't see the much larger picture involved and might like to see it degrade into a left/right slug fest, but what has transpired here really is so much bigger than that.

I'm kinda new here, so I do not know if you were equally opposed to Ms Pelosi's lovely statement that the hc bill would have to be passed before anyone could find out what's in it.
