Donald Trump Demands Obama's Birth Certificate on ''The View''

It takes more than a piece of paper to be an American. Actions speak louder than words. The actions of our representatives in offices of authority do not reflect the will or the want of the people they serve. Our chosen leaders do not place America or American citizens first.

When corrupt politicians are unwilling to change, it is time to change out corruption and the politicians.

Yes Obama is half white/half african. Nothing to do with US slavery etc at all.
At best Obama is a first generation "black" American.

At least he had a casino to lose and I am sure learned from the experience. Can't say that about any other potential candidate.

He deals with the in's and out's of big business all the time and knows a lot about lots of things. i don't know that he should be Pres but I know he would be batter than Obama.. but so would Sarah. I think he could have some good insight for this country about the direction of our economy - if his loyalties lie in the right place. He could just want the position to help line his own pockets by making laws that would benefit him in the future.

Yep, what we need is another president to run the country like a corporation again.

the way i see it is, if you want to be the president, you should have nothing to hide and every aspect of your life should be disclosed to ensure the nation that you're not an enemy of the country.

There was never a question as to the veracity of one's birthplace before......
Let him get his DL renewed in Cook Cty,ILL first with no exceptions for his office and then let's see
(he will probably have to bring a copy of his original long form BC to get it renewed).

Yes, the above is an original Hawaiian birth certificate, one issued at childhood in a card form. This is a birth certificate readily accepted in Hawaii along with the current electronic short form. There are minimal differences between this one and the electronic short form. They both detail the same amount of information, the only difference is that one looks older. If this is what's going to end the birther conspiracy as birthers insist then this is only further proof that they are full of it.

It does look like I may have some misinformation here. However, the question of which passport did he use has still not been answered. Let him show his AMERICAN passport showing the trip to Pakistan and the birthers will have nothing left. Until he shows something that cannot be faked, there WILL be questions about his origins.

NEITHER side has proven whether he is qualified/unqualified to be President according to the Constitution. And, frankly, I don't KNOW either.

Unfortunately, he is the FIRST President who is black, who has questions surrounding his eligibility, and WHO (for whatever reason) REFUSES TO DO WHATEVER IS NECESSARY TO LAY THOSE QUESTIONS TO REST.

In two years this will be a moot issue - he will be gone. The Republicans are so disorganized that Hilary or some other Democrat will replace him. Lets hope that whoever that Democrat is is more transparent about himself and his policies than Obama is.

This issue has never arisen with a previous President, so there has never been any reason demand proof, whether by original birth certificate, by passport, or by whatever. I bet if Trump were President (God forbid!), he would have shown everything the FIRST TIME the issue was raised.

All I want is PROOF that cannot be faked. So far, Obama has NOT done that. An American passport with all of the entry/exits stamps is one of the most fakeproof ways. And the ONLY reason that the passport is even a possible proof is because Obama himself said he traveled to Pakistan.

BTW, Obams IS the proper POTUS, but NOT for the reasons given.
