us.cnn.com...

At this point, there is no suggestion that the new meteorite -- discovered December 15, 2003, on an ice field some 466 miles (750 km) from the South Pole -- bears any evidence of possible microscopic fossilized life.

I hope it turns up some really cool fossil or mineral

Fossilized life would be an incredibly amazing! I still think its incredible that they have those two fully functional rovers on the Mars surface. Think of that as a major milestone in the history of humanity. Anyways im sure Antarctica has not even yet began to reveal its secrets to us. Or maybe it has and we just weren't informed because they found something amazing.

I've always wondered how they know for sure that these meteorites come from mars. No rocks have ever been returned from Mars yet to compare them with. It would very possible they could come from somewhere else.
