Associated Press Makes it Official- 7.0 Quake hits Myanmar

Quake was 140 miles deep and was felt in Bangkok where buildings are reported to have been swaying. Seems like a chain reaction just like Japan because there are reports of a second Quake as well.

I am not blaming you as this just happened and you were probably just in a rush to get it out there but,

to the mods,
Delete this thread there are at present time already two other threads about the EXACT same thing.
If you delete this post then you no doubt SAW this post.
If you SAW this post then delete the thread.
If you do NOT delete the thread after seeing this post then enough said.
You guys apparently promote having multiple threads on the same subject.

Who knows.
It gets irritating and confusing as well.

It is a strange phenomena that nobody trusts the mainstream media, but that nobody believes anything until the mainstream media reports it.

To be fair, this is a huge website! Not every mod can get to every hoax or duplicate thread when you want them to. Have you ever heard of the 'alert' button for threads & posts? Next time, just alert the thread (thats why they created the button) and be a little patient.
