Well, I'm not to good at this yet, and this being my first post here on ATS, will probably make me look stupid...oh well ! The image I got while reading the post was of a (fake?) wood shelf, about 2 or 3 feet wide. I'm not sure the height or location (possibly near a Television) of the shelf. Common sense (as in, not psychic abilities)tells me, the video tape would probably be mixed in with the other videos and or books being stored there, or around/under the shelf itself. Hope I helped !

Check all the places you know it WILL NOT be
Examples: freezer, fridge, cupboards, glove compartment, hope you get the idea.
Then look where you know it COULD BE, by retracing your steps as well as you remember.
It works every time for me.

Often such missing items are found in the last place you look.... to be wise or otherwise, a friend has it... ask around. You better pray it doesn't end up where all the missing socks end up... at the edge of the universe!
