You could be sneaky and modify the grp policy file then boot her up when she's not connected to the network, so it will use its current policy file rather than updating it (because it cannot connect)

After its booted and you're logged on - THEN connect it to the network. Untill you reboot you're PC the modified settings will work. You'd need to re-do this every reboot as once it conencts to the network it will re-download the latest grp policy file. But it will take untill you're next reboot for it to run that updated file...

Theres all the room you'll have to play with in this situation


He does not want to modify anything, if he does anything fishy I don't think the School would be too happy, Linux with Live CD is his best bet to do what he wants with out messing up school property, easy for them to fix sure, but why lose the trust.

Maybe you should read the posts again. The right click is disabled on the "main screen" aka desktop. This action is still available in programs and is not disabled as a whole for the whole system.

So again my question is valid.

Still not really your business, he asked how, he did not ask permission, you don't need to give him the information if you don't think he should have it.
