The Daily Show explains how and why America intervenes in certain scenarios by using the idea of freedom packages. This aired last night and just hit the nail on the head. They use humor to highlight such blatantly disingenuous actions by America.

It completely summed up everything perfectly, and then I was upset that a comedy show has the most accurate representation of American foreign policy. I did enjoy Ratigan's piece the other day on MSNBC.

WOW THAT WAS SPOT ON!!!!!!! Geez wow! It is great how they can just hit the nail and counterink it right in the vampire's heart and still have humor to a nonhumorous scenario. Thank you for the post and it is like "foreign relations for dummies"

It's very good, as they are usually pro-Dem, but it's nice to see everyone is waking up to the lack of parity in our governmental system.
