CBC has reported that slightly higher levels of radiation have been detected in British Columbia, Canada. I have family there. Although it is still well within safe limits, I still feel concerned. Probably nothing to worry about, just thought people could find this interesting.

The BC reading doesnt look abnormally high.....i live there on vancouver island so it is of extreme importance to me....
How high would the readings have to get to be harmfull?
Thats the 64 cent question.......
Also is the gov gonna tell the truth any more readily than japan? NO.
They have already not reported leaks in the Pickering plant in Ontario which is a disaster awaiting a reason to happen, but they cannot shut it down long because they produce a large portion of the worlds medical isotopes.
Tricky situation.....but they have lied before, and they will again.

What about the nuclear plant closest to New York City, it is considered one of the most vulnerable plants in north america and it's just 25 miles from North Americas largest city.
