large cooking pot, axe, large tent

I think I will find someone with a knife and flint and nature has antiseptics.

I chose mine because I think they will make me rich and powerful and attractive to women in the post Armageddon society ;-)

Knowledge, experience and luck. For knowledge I would like to know plants very well. What is medicinal, what is edible, what is utilitarian, etc. For experience, that would be the confidence of self reliance and the surpassing of your fears. As for luck, I would like it to go well.
If it was 3 physical things, I would say a knife, a metal cup (for boiling water, digging, gathering, etc.), and paracord which can be used for traps, fishing line, bow drill string, etc. I can make a fire with hand or bow drill but purifying water is difficult without boiling in the wild.

Knife, fire steel and sharpener.

All that is included in the Bear knife I listed earlier. Fire starter and sharpener are in the sheath. Thus freeing up two other slots! Oh and an emergency whistle is in it too

A knife, a tarp, and a fire starter.

I have to say I would cheat though and wind nylon rope around the tarp. Rope is invaluable in my opinion. But, if you want to stick to the rules, the rope out of the above three would go.

I'm no master, but I would say a very long-lasting source of fire, an edged weapon like a short sword but heavy, so it could also chop wood, the third would be either a container of water or a firearm.
