Jesus said: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) I believe this man proved that point.

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a 40-year-old man died after he saved his family from a fire in Williamsburg.

S&F. As I said in an earlier Thread, the most nobel act of any human is to sacifice his/her life in the service of others. Corny though it sounds, that is the way I want to meet my end. Not in bed during sleep, not some accident or illness, but whilst making a difference. If, through your own death, others may live, then you have not died in vain.

A remarkable display of love and courage.
We can all learn a lesson from this unselfish man.
