Actually I would try to keep guiding them so they wont make a bad decision in the first place. In case they do make a bad decision I will take out the belt until they were straight, now lets hear your reply?

SO you think you could just beat the gayness right out of him hu!?
If anyone is reading this post that understand where I am coming from...you'll understand why I am leaving this thread...absolutely, unbelievable...all in the good name of God!
This is the perfect example of mentality as to why so many people look unfavorable on the Christian religion. You would not even look at their achievements, that they contribute to society in a positive manner, the light of their smile or how much they love you.....just if they are gay or not...very, very sad...
I am outa this thread

I respect your path...but SURELY do NOT agree with it...what you just said was brutal and if it ever came down to it...you should be punished...BUT...
We all have to walk true the darkness to a point where there is light!

but still...after all...I wouldnt be near you in an area about 1000KM distance...you would be a enemy to some people i know...

BTW, Jakko, no one is born "gay." This is a taught lifestyle. All children are really asexual, start out that way. It helps if these children have good role models. The father figure is extremely important in all this. He must be a loving and caring man, show disciplin while at the same time being loving and caring and in a leadership role. Tiza

There are a lot of "perfect families" that also raise gay children, it's really something you're born with I think.

As I have said before it is a choice, no scientific evidence which is major supports the fact that it is genetically inherited. A person chooses to be gay of their own will.

You're so utterly wrong.
What about the sheep experiments?
What about actually talking to gay people??
pffft, the ignorance...

Well, if I would find out that my 4 year old kid was "gay", then I would do the best for him to be straight.
But first of all, my kid won't be gay, nor straight under a significant age. He may be girlish at the early age, there is need to guide his behaviour, etc...

So the real case is: Those families who raise a child without close emotional relationship, no matter that they give everything the kids want, they can turn gay, or users of drugs.

Istvan, once again, the most happy families raise gay people, and the most screwed up families raise straight people.
Your point is based on nothing, which is understandable since you're wrong. Why can't you see that?

Yeah, the most happy family members are the most far away from their children. The most screwed up families are holding tight to their members, and they talk over everything.

In fact, kids of rich families become gay only to follow a new trend, to show up, to tell the world that they are capable for that because they have money. That's all.

You're rambling Istvan.
You twist and turn everything untill it suits your flawed logic, and if you contradict earlyer rambling you simply twist it again.
It's almost amusing...

Yes, it is. Didn't you know that, There are more and more gays, most of them are from rich famolies. It's got to be stopped, because unwanted consequences may occur to the human kind.

Ya know.....I said I'd ,eave this thread...and I did, till DH told me about some of this carp posted after. I am a very strong female figure, sadly, my kids did not have a strong male figure with my ex, my kids aren't gay, though as I said, I'd deal with it if one of them were (I have three boys ages 21, 25, 29) There are gay children from all walks of life....no one here is talking about gay as a trend NO ONE. No acting gay as a trend is not right to me, simply because it confuses a person as to their own sexuality...no one here has said it fine to have homosexual relations as a trend...yur grasping for something

I have to wonder here how many of you anti gay people check out the opposite sex when not with your SO, how many look at porn on that screen your reading right now? How many of you anti-gay men out there fantasize about two woman together or look at two woman together mags or web sites (that's homosexuality too ya know! How many of you have had an affair, stolen something, lie, had sex out of marriage, get drunk on Fri or Sat then sit your butts up at church on Sunday, or don't go to church at all....but that's all over looked...one of my biggest problems with Christianity....you guys say, "Oh yeah, I believe that and I don't do that, so I'll follow that....... But I don't like that, or I do that, so I won't follow that" You can't pick and choose what you want to follow from a religion. Again...you with this attitude, put your own religion in an extremely bad light to others, I understand you will be held responsible for that.

Hey hey not so fast here!
If TACHYON is totally ignorant and Christian it does not mean we all are! I am a Christian as well, and I am ashamed that fellow Christians are as ignorant as Tachyon.
I also don't understand them, but I allready had a discussion with Tach about this, which led to nothing.
All I can do is accept that he is ignorant and hope people like you will not base their opinion of Christians on that one ignorant ape.
Not all Christians are like that you know, in fact most are not.

I agree with LadyV when she says that it isnt our place to judge a fellow human being. God is the only one that retains that power and authority. If you are a Christian I would encourage you to read the following verses.

Matthew 7:1
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

Luke 6:37
"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

James 5:9
Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

This whole thread is not serious at all. Everybody knows, that homophilia has no future. Also, it is sad that most people attack the religion, that it is wrong, and gays know the right thing. Yeah, it must be the truth...

I apologize to those of you that get the bad rap for others...I seem to always run into those similar to Tachyon's view....which is probably why so many are turning from your faith.....though I am not Christian, I believe that all "positive" religions hold good standards to live by if they are followed as they are supposed to be followed

So no one that is homosexual, contributes to society? Hold good jobs? I know of one I work with that has been with the same man for 20 years (longer than most hetero marriages) they own a nice home, follow the laws of our society, work hard....you have no idea what your talking about. As to viewing your faith in a negative light....you cause that yourself, you and those like you with your "no forgiving" attitude using a religion that is supposed to be forgiving and loving....you seem very much to be the kind of person that if a homosexual showed up at your church, if you go to church, would ridicule and ostersize the person right out the door....
