Yes, I believe it is correct. I have read your previous threads and it appears you are a great sensationalist. Not your fault. It's prolly in your genetic makeup. While I do believe yellowstone may erupt. I think there will be different signs than what you are looking for. Although I am not a specialist. This is what I am going to university for. Geology and volcanology

Yes, it is set to blow. No one knows when. It will create a nuclear winter that will hide the sun. It will hide the moon from you too.
I remember studying this in middle school and always found it interesting. Good thread for people that have never studied it. I recommend visiting yellowstone. Beautiful place if you are outdoorsy.

You are supposed to separate your statements from those of the article (like I just did). Otherwise it is considered plagiarism.

Sorry Mr. Teacher didn't mean to offend you. and yes I know exactly what it is! But I also gave you the source and I never said that any of that was my own words! u do a nice job of discrediting people work! Thanks

Your threads are all the same:

-Lack of insight
-Lack of what you call "Work" I don't know what work you put into this other than typing Yellowstone in the google search field, and linking a webpage with info.
-Your highly sensitive to criticism, which you attract very easily with your lack of evidence and or topic backing.
-And then yesterday you go calling out these so called, "ATS Bullies" because your picked on and unloved.

Why don't you actually go and research a topic, post multiple explanations and evidence to your theory instead of just posting a link and bashing those that call out your BS that you display on here. I find no intellectual value in your threads and I can google search any of your created posts on my own. I can't say as though you have provided ATS with any new theories or evidence that wasn't already on here or the web.

Did you even search for the other Yellowstone threads that have been created. There are many and I don't know what you were trying to add here.

Stop crying all the time and when someone like Phage, who has experience beyond yours regarding ATS, reflects on your post and adds advice on plagerism, swallow your pride and thank him for the help instead of disrespecting him. He was only trying to help your sad post.

Lots of Amerika hate these days, in spite of President Obama having been handed the Nobel Peace Prize, but I'm pretty sure that Yellowstone isn't going to just wipe out America. It's a world-changer.

From what I've read, super-volcanoes have the potential to change the weather so severely that a long-lasting world-wide famine might kill billions. Many very cold years might pass before things might again be "normal", and the survivors would live in a very different world, with not near the population, and quite likely an entirely different political order. Probably some "Doom" scenarios would even have us reverting to the stone age.

Maybe a better way to bring America down is too just slowly infiltrate it over many years. Maybe the Mexicans could start coming up, and establish separatist organizations, reproduce at a fast rate, and eventually have the numbers to first split the country, and then eventually weaken the whole thing? What do you think?

Ah, probably far-fetched...

Lol, I know it sound harsh but I think the rest of the world would breath a collective sigh of relief if the bullies bad Karma came back to them in the form of a Yellowstone eruption.

Mother nature knows what she's doing.

OP: I had never read any of your threads until today, when I came across two of them. The first, was you complaining that all your threads are highjacked by people trying to upset you. The second, is this one.

Honestly, I have little interest in anything you have to say based on both of these threads. You can't defend yourself without whining, nor do you carry yourself properly. I am writing this in the hopes of you examining your methodology, because quite frankly, it's lacking.

Everything you say could be 100% on point, but the problem is you kind of present it like a buffoon. I don't mean to offend, I just think it's fair for you to know why you're rubbing so many people the wrong way. Hope it helps.

P.s. I make people mad all the time, so I can understand. But, with so many people against you (according to you), I can't understand why there wouldn't be more on your side at the same time. The answer is simple: you're doing some thing or a lot of things very wrong. No offense, but cowboy up. You're acting far too weak.

Why is he not worried about it because it is 10km down?

I keep seeing this line quoted by people, but no one gives any explanation as to why. Its just taken at face value. I am trying to understand why this is less cause for concern than something not as deep.

I am sure this is all explained in the 600+ page existing yellowstone thread, so I will go there and try to learn about it.

The super-volcano beneath Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming has been rising at a record rate since 2004
It would explode with a force a thousand times more powerful than the Mount St Helens eruption in 1980.

Spewing lava far into the sky, a cloud of plant-killing ash would fan out and dump a layer 10ft deep up to 1,000 miles away.

Two-thirds of the U.S. could become uninhabitable as toxic air sweeps through it, grounding thousands of flights and forcing millions to leave their homes.

But hampered by a lack of data they have stopped short of an all-out warning and they are unable to put a date on when the next disaster might take place!

When the eruption finally happens it will dwarf the effect of Iceland’s Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which erupted in April last year, causing travel chaos around the world.

The University of Utah's Bob Smith, an expert in Yellowstone's volcanism told National Geographic: ‘It's an extraordinary uplift, because it covers such a large area and the rates are so high.

‘At the beginning we were concerned it could be leading up to an eruption.’

There are pictures on this website! Geographical pictures also!

Personally I get tired of reading the same repetitive things over and over and over. Yes, Yellowstone will probably blow sometime in the next 10,000 years. Maybe some new things about it would be nice. Maybe it offends me because I live 90 miles away from it... I don't know. But every other week someone puts up something about it. It's getting old. Please check out the 3 dozen or more other threads on this same old boring topic. Can we talk about something else? It's more than likely NOT going to happen in our lifetime anyway. Sorry to pick on you so heavy op.. but this story has been done too many times already.

Apparenlty you know something that all the experts don't know. I've lived here all my life and have read every thread done on it. Every couple of weeks someone says its gonna blow. Well I have news for you, its not gonna blow anytime soon and all the little earthquakes we have our normal for the region. Trust me, if it wasn't I would be the first one moving out of here!

1) Nice copy & paste Job.

2) The article is many weeks old already.

3) The issue has been discussed already on countless ATS threads.

I believe your arguing to the wrong person. I think he's explaining that we should bleed yellowstone's magma by evacuations and strategically place bunker busters to allow the magma to flow and disperse... However I do think this would be a bad idea because there's enough lava under yellowstone to cover the whole US.

maybe it could be directed out to sea and used as landfill for new housing projects

just a thought

There has been BIG sunspot activity in the past two days, not only Yellowstone, but also Mt Fuji, and Mt Vesuvius are experiencing rumblings below the surface and are also both 'due' Re Yellowstone, they have been monitoring it closely for 6 years, and scientists have stated they have been told not to 'panic' people. They know it's over due. These are earth changes which have been predicted to accelerate from now to the end of 2012.
Don't panic but try to stay steady. Whatever will be will be.

Well if Yellowstone doen't take this planet out a dozen other monsters surely will and probably soon. So why argue (?) No doubt Yellowstone has become increasingly more active along with most of the fault lines representing tectonic plate movement. God just look at Japan it hasn't stopped shaking. And now their talking about rebuilding. Thats BS !!!

Great post
Now here is a thought: Since the world rotating al little little bit faster everytime a big eartquake hits things gonna happend? The rotation of the earth and the movment in the sea is effected badly? when movment from a 5+ earthquake interuptes earths rotation the sea is not stopping at the same time, my point is that everytime a quake i gettin earth to rotate a little little faster the moves with it, and we are gonna se bigger and bigger tsunamis in near future? I dont belive the world will end at 2012 but we are to my belive entering a time when naturale disasters gonna take this to a new level?

Any thoughts abot dead fish and birds and HAARP?
