Russian geophysicist Pogrebnikov concurs with his colleagues at Harvard and Stanford: the earth may be in for a hell of a time.

You didn't look at the sources did you?

Unless Harvard was in Moscow in 1984 Pogrebnikov wasn't at Harvard. Perhaps you can tell me who those colleagues are.

Publication:
In its USSR Rept.: Earth Sci. (JPRS-UES-84-007) p 97 (SEE N85-15196 06-42) Transl. into ENGLISH from Geomagnetizm i Aeronomiya (Moscow), v. 24, no. 2, Mar. - Apr. 1984 p 339-340

adsabs.harvard.edu...

Neither he nor Fraser-Smith say the Earth may be in for a hell of a time.

Why do you always feel the need to bring all that logic and fact based mess into these threads. Can't you see that people are trying to coddle their anxiety disorders here? Let them discuss impending doom in non-peace...

Yes I have that is why I asked the initial question, but I don't intend to start a flame war with you. I was just curious if you thought you were smarted than people that studied at Harvard.

I could be smarter than some people at Harvard and a lot less smart than others. But since no one being talked about seems to be from Harvard it's pretty irrelevant. I'm know I'm smarter than a lot of people and I know a lot of people are smarter than me.

And the point is that yes, the fool who wrote the article is putting words in the scientists mouths.
