I don't know if it was a proven hoax, but I'll prove it was a hoax. As mentioned before, if an object this size crashed at a rate fast enough to embed
it half way into the ground, the object would be destroyed or at least much more damaged. Also, the dirt around the object would not be so well intact
either. But hey I can roll with that...the aliens just have indestructible ships and they happened to crash into mud. Sure, that works.
Unfortunately, though, for the hoaxers, they set this up with the UCO angled toward the trees. If you look around the 2:10 mark of the video, you'll
see that these trees are pretty tall. At the angle that it's embedded, it would have struck and done extensive damage to these trees. If you watch the
video, though, you'll see there is no damage whatsoever. Case closed your honor.
