I can tell ignorance has blurred your vision. Your so called arsenal is aimed at the wrong type of people. And if you think I'm patriotic your wrong.

The patriot jab wasn't actually aimed at you.

I am a citizen of the US, and like all other citizens of the world I have no real say in what my Government does nor how it conducts itself, in fact, it seems that more Americans agree with you about war and its erroneous applications wherever and whenever greed dictates. I would however like to point out that while you singled out the "Big Three" of the UN security council as being the Western Empire stomping it's foot, lets not forget that China and Russia both voted on this resolution with France spearheading the initiative...so in essence you can blame it on the socialists, unfortunately that is how a democratic unilateral Multi-national security panel resolves things...By A Vote. If voting actually worked they would have a vote per country, per person, to make the vote in the UN, however that as well all know is a bureaucrats biggest enemy, asking the people anything, they TELL us, and that is how it is. So I am sorry our country is working with a Multi-national force of dozens of other countries, each one of those gentleman in that force being TOLD what to do. mindless as it is, it is their job, as it has been for centuries, that of any soldiers job to do obey orders, Its called war. Civilians are also told what to do by the government however they are not soldiers, and when a civilian takes up arms against its government its called revolution. the military will gun us down just as readily. So please don't believe it is 'Our" country that wants this, "We" are not soldiers "We" are the "People" and our voice has been denied. Why do you think yours will be treated any different.
With great Apologies A Brother in Governed Silence.

Yes I totally accord to what you are saying. The thruth and sad that just
popped
into my mind was that TPTB has all the interests of stopping this awakening. Sadly many of the so called " elite " are facing a reality thier reign is coming to an end and they will do everything to maintain it. I am not pro-government but it doesn't take einstein's brain to understand this.

so, yes the awakening is to come but TPTB know it and doesn't want it to happen. One thing I must say : stay united people and keep the sincere conviction we can go through this. The more with this thinking, the better it will be when the mess will truly show up sooner or later.

Yes America and European countries, please sit idly by, and watch as a dictator continues his oppressive and medieval ways. If a country leader wants to kill innocent people that just want freedom, then that is his right as a dictator. Shame on you for putting an end to Hitler's regime, shame on you for putting an end to Hussein's regime. Who are you to decide that enough is enough. Clearly New Zealand is way better than you.

Sure, that's what Fox News and CNN it's saying.Muammar Gaddafi has been running his country for over 40 years. This so called dictator has been there forever. Where were the freedom seekers and democracy worshipers before? Enough with this hypocrisy and arrogance, enough hiding the true reasons behind words like democracy, freedom, oppression...blah blah blah. We all know that nobody gives a flying @uck about those thing. The true reason is just oil. They decided that Gaddafi has to go and they'll do whatever it takes to make that happen. I wonder if the whole scenario in the surrounding countries were put in place just for this final objective.

When the people of a country beg for our intercession. When the Arab League calls on us for intervention to protect the citizens of a nation against the regime they have been victim of for 41 years.

You bet your ass I want us to respond. It's only a shame this did not happen two weeks ago.

Pull your head out of it.

Are you talking about the same arab league that has distanced itself from the current operations in Libya ?

The below post appeared in another thread here on ATS. I'm quoting

Minister Louis Abdul-Haleem Farrakhan Muhammad, Sr. (born Louis Eugene Walcott; May 11, 1933) is the leader of the Chicago, Illinois-based Nation of Islam and he "Blasts Obama on Libya Bombing":

Let us not jump to conclusions about Gadhafi. It appears he has been firing on his own people but do we know the whole story? Is he being painted as a boogey-man to legitimize U.S. take-over of Libya?

Ponder this:
“Be careful, brother, how you handle this situation because it is coming to America! It has already started. Look in Wisconsin! Look in Ohio! Look at what’s going on in your country! And remember your words because the American people are rising against their own government: It’s not Muslims; it’s not Black people! It’s White militias that are angry with their government, and they are well armed. Are you going to tell them-’Put your arms down, and let’s talk it over peacefully?’ I hope so. But if not, America will be bathed in blood, not because Farrakhan said so, but because the dissatisfaction in America has reached the boiling point. Be careful how you manipulate the dissatisfaction in Libya and other parts of the Muslim world,” he warned.

Obama and the military-industrial complex have not cared and do not care about the people of Libya:

“Is it that you’re (U.S. officials) so concerned over the blood that is being shed in Libya, when you looked the other way when the Israeli Defense Force was bombing the innocent people of Gaza, unarmed men, women and children? … You looked the other way when the Israeli Defense Force went into Lebanon thinking that they were going to have an easy victory, then you had to come out with your tail between your legs?”

Nor did they do anything in Africa to help the people during the genocides (which are still going on?) So, WHAT IS YOUR GOAL HERE MR.PRESIDENT?

They called for a no-fly zone. If they didn't realize that entailed taking out surface to air missiles and ack ack and related threats, too bad. Besides, they called on the international community to "protect the civilians" and if that means taking out tanks and artillery, so be it.

Stop being so holier than thou and sanctimonious: you are not good at it.

Buddy, our U.S.A.R teams have been travelling the world in 2011, just the same as yours.

My question still stands. What exactly have YOU sent ?

I lost a brother in law in the earthquake.
I am a qualified telecommunication technician and I have been working for free in my spare time. I have drawn blood, sweat and tears here.

I ask again, what exactly have YOU sent ?

So now, because I'm defending my opinion, I'm holier than thou and sanctimonious ?

One could throw the exact same dialogue at you, sir.

This. l ink

I am pretty sure the average american made financial donations via Red Cross and other charities. On that note, agreed. We do not belong in Libya at all. I wish our Govt. would focus on all the crap that is going on domestically, instead of worrying about foreign nations.

So? What exactly have you personally done to help with for Katrina? Or Japan? Two can play that argument bud. My tax dollars are funding some of the relief efforts in Christ Church and in Japan, as well as the ongoing efforts in Haiti. What are YOU doing?

Apparently, a crapton more than what you are.

Tax dollars. lol.

You contribute not based on choice, but by your governments choice to send aid.
Keep on keepin on, sheeple.

Personally, I am proud as hell of the French jumping in all hell for leather. I think they have single-handedly prevented the eradication of the rebels by superior forces still under government control, not loyal to mind you, but still under control.

I predict mass defections as army units say "To hell with Momar" and begin siding again with the rebels.

I've worked through more hurricanes than you could imagine, gratus. I was a volunteer EMT for years. I am not getting into a pissing match over who has the most creds. You are simply wrong, and decidedly slanted on your world view. This is concluded.

Proud of the common soldier, yes. The problem I have with it is it seems as long as foreign leaders such as Gaddafi, Hussein and the like don't mess with oil production, the worlds nations turn a blind eye. It is not like Gaddafi just one day flipped out and started killing people. This has been going on for a long time, only now its affecting the price of Gasoline. Gaddafi has been in power in Libya since 1969. He has sponsored terrorism, assassinations, oppressed the people of Libya, and robbed his own country blind to line his own pockets and that of his friends and family. This has been going on for years, and the "west" has always turned a blind eye, if you don't take the actions by Reagan in the 80's, and even then he remained in power. Why now? Nothing has really changed. It has been the same way there for years.
