Funny how those who supported Iraq's sovereign nation status are now supporting the attacks on Libya with no regard for it's sovereign nation status. My how times change when the White House goes from an R to a D, doesn't it?

Gaddafi is totally right to call this a crusade! The US military in general, and the Marines in particular, are effectively Christian armies. They fight for the cause of divine right. The marines were founded to wage war against the Barbary Pirates, Muslim pirates from North Africa who captured and sold Christian sailors. The Marines were founded to continue fighting a crusade against Islam, they were founded to go to the "shores of Tripoli!"

It wouldn't be surprising at all to see a serious land war in Libya, and Gaddafi is preparing the populace for it.
