I found this statement rather interesting.....

And now this:

Head of Libyan armed forces orders all units to observe an immediate cease-fire beginning at 9 p.m. local time (3 p.m. ET) - Reuters

Merely an opportunity to circle the wagons? Or have they realized what they're up against and come to their senses?

"A Man of Culture" could refer to someone of a mixed heritage.

So was that Erwin Rommel and the German Africa corps Paratroopers and ground trembling Pzkw Mk IV tank during WWII in North Africa being fought over Egypt and Libya?

Or was it the US/British forces who trembled the ground with Sherman/Crusader tanks?

It would be great if people provided the exact quatrain translation rather then someone's discription of...

Translation is kinda important don't ye guys think?

Now this is in a book over 25 years ago. It mentions the French fighting the Libyans. This is happenning RIGHT NOW. The French were the first to open fire. Some of the passages to follow will rock your world.

If you don't believe me read this book. Latest news is that the Arabs are now against this aggression - thinking that this would just be a NO FLY ZONE.
Read the info on Italy - how it's poised for a Muslim invasion along with France & Spain because of this.

It is easy to see how a book written in the early 80's would mention France and Lybia figthing as they intervened militarily several time in the late 70s early 80's when Lybia tried invading Frances ally Chad on a few occasions. A large scale Lybian French conflict was expected by many at the time. And at the time the Lybians still claimed to be leaders of the Arab world, it would not be until later when shunned by the Arabs that Lybia would declare itself no longer Arab but, African and the new leader of the African world. This "prophecy" fit the bill better in the 80's than is does with the current situation.

A "great king" could mean a leader of a nation......again it could mean Obama or Sarkozy

That jumps out at me more than any other part . The lunar ones? Does this refer to the coalition and the fact that the attacks coincided with a full moon?

Or could the "lunar ones" refer to the US, as we are the only country to have sent a man to the moon?

Keep in mind most North Africans speak French as a second language; many Egyptians mainly in Alexandria also speak French.

You have to remember when it is written as the "lunar" one it could mean the Arabs as the Moon Cresent is on most Arab nation's flags....and is the symbol of Islam.

Allah = Ilah = Moon God

Keep this in mind for later readings:

Israel: IS = Isis / RA = Ray of the Sun / EL = God / I S R A E L

The Arabs were also the first to bring about Astronomy and the .0 decimal point
