riiight. first they make the public need a 'perscription' and now 'people are gettingg poisoned' so that they can go 'i told you so'. i'm sure... i don't believe a word this government run poison control agency is saying.

Kinda ironic. They are afraid of radiation, so they take tons of iodine supplements and end up getting sick from it.

Its simple culling of the population.
If people did their research there would not be a problem like this.
Out of how many millions of doses ordered there are 7 reports?

Peace

I just popped me a bag of microwave
popcorn from Orville Redenbacher.
And I noticed the instructions
on the bottom of the bag:

"Listen for the pop to know when to stop"

and thought this could be re-arranged
to fit the instructions for Potassium Iodide

"Wait for the top to know when to pop"

Well we don't have to exonerate him, but it is probably why he was told to say what he said, because the population at large are too stoopid!!

Funny stuff too btw.

7 idiots is hardly enough to condem a nation.

Of course it's 6 more than the gov and nanny stater need to start pushing to ban all supplements and require government approval before anyone injests anything.

7 sick from iodine. How many in the same time frame dead from their FDA approved and doctor prescribed statins?

that's true
however, that article was dated 3/17/11
which was 3 days ago. We do not know how
many more have come in once the plume
got tracked over CA. It may have increased.
No info on that yet.

STUPIDITY

ok, that brings up a legal question.

Should the Gov have the right to control
you because of your stupidity or IQ level???
Do they have the right to make your decisions
for you based on your intelligence?

Well, that depends. If you're mentally handicapped, then yes. But other than that, we have the personal RESPONSIBILITY to ask questions and get informed about the height of the bridge, the distance from the bridge to the water, the temperature of the water and also its depth BEFORE we go and jump in the friggin' lake.

Personal responsibility in this day and age has become a rare commodity, I'm afraid.

who decides what that cut-off point is ???
I read an article on ATS not too long ago
where Social Services were asking some
folks with lower IQ's not to have children
anymore. And even sterilization was mentioned.
Does riding the short bus automatically
put you on the controlled population list?

The people who over dosed on this stuff, if it is even true, were either allergic to the stuff or took it like a drug addict fool would, the more the better....If 1,000 people take any medicine you are going to have a few that have a reaction to it..You notice that the report didn't say how many people took this and Didn't have a reaction to it....It's better for 4 or 5 to die than 4 or 5 thousand...

Keep on listening to that damnable t.v. set and see where you end up..The bad thing is, I can't get off work next week or any time to go to your funeral....

YOU are "it" People....You are the one You have been searching for !!! You don't need them...YOU can do all that is needed to be done for yourself.....When you begin to Love and trust in yourself, then you'll learn to really live....

Spelling.corrected..

You're right...that is a very fine line, but what I meant was that the handicapped should be protected so they don't hurt themselves or others. Let's save the sterilization topic for another thread...that's a BIG topic.

hmm, the question would be why would the government want to prevent the spread of lower iq. it would only decrease the number of the voting public. think about who actually gets on jury panels. think about what the average voting person thinks about on why they vote a certain way.
