Jim Ricsh, Mike Crapo and Mike Simpson (Two Senators and Congressman) who were sternly against building an Islamic center in downtown Manhattan welcome the Royal Saudi Air Force to train it's Pilots for 5 years and 500 million. Hippocracy to the fullest. Not to mention the majority of 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabian and were TRAINED HERE.

I guess it's different if your state gets money out of the deal.

Probably also explains why the US didn't blink when Saudi and UAE troops helped put down protests in Bahrain.

It's long standing policy that friendlies can train stateside with us in charge of the excersizes. We are notorious for this. Other nations allow us to maintain bases and facilities there so this is us reciprocatiting. Nothing more, nothing less.

We have had members of at least 75 militaries of the world train here so this is nothing new.

The term "friendlies" is not specific, nor has it been a good measure in our countries past. Remember how that worked for giving/selling Afgans weapons to fight the Soviets? Now we're selling huge military deals to the place that had more 9/11 "terrorists" than Afganistan. In the past, there are many cases where this kind of scenario is always talked about later, but when it comes up again no one seems to notice until years after the fact.

But that is not my point. I am more concered with the direct hipocracy and crassness of our elected officals. Our Republic is near it's end

It's all about grandstanding to your parties base and playing off of fear-mongering over "islamo-fascists" while at the same time doing business with them and taking their money.
