It only seems to not be making sense if that is the standpoint one wants to be the only one.
In reality, it DO make perfect sense, and people do not autamotically become evil only because they are part of a Governmental force. That is like saying that all people that are religious are evil because they are all part of the same systems. True, some religious people are indeed evil and missuse religion as an excuse for hatred, but alot religious people are also very good hearted indeed.
That is the reason why there are so many silly tinfoilclaims about the Government, Aliens, Secret Societies, and whatever, on this board; Because too many people judge other large groups of people as being on big synchronized gray mass with synchronized thinking, thus, not realizing that even the- for instance- governments of the Earth contains both good and bad people aswell.

It is somewhat creepy that caring for people is considered as "not making sense".

Well im very confused by that press conference, SO this would be the 2nd cease fire? and they where just firing anti aircraft fire like 15 mins ago?

Then talk of this march to Benghazi? That would take over 8 days????

This is going to be interesting...

Can you provide us with evidence of the "west" intervening militarily ONE TIME in a nation in which it did not have an economic interest for purely humanitarian purposes. One example.

Because we CAN provide hundreds of examples of people in humanitarian crisis in which the "west" did absolutely nothing to help the people who had nothing the west wanted.

AND we can provide any number of examples where we ASSIST governments who are abusing their people when those governements are giving us what we want.

He's gonna kill 'em... he'll send his guys to massacre the 'opposition' and
then blame the coalition.
The act of a shallow devious desperate man.

Edit: he's calling them in like rats to the Piper.

Here is another article:
rt.com...
I don't think Libya has enough "air-defence systems" for 110 Tomahawk cruise missiles (have you seen a single AA gun fired) ?

Libya is ranked as one of the top-ten biggest oil producers in the world.

Nuff said. The future will show.

Like I stated in a earlier post, militarily and economically Russia and China are still very much so enemies of America. It isn't so much about oil as some would like us to believe, but each and every diplomatic decision the USA makes is part of a long term military strategy. Saying that I can't honestly say I'm totally against the long term military strategy.

I'm pretty sure I seen a news headline last night stating one cruise missile hit 4 tanks which shouldn't have anything to do with the no fly zone.

Ok the tanks that was hit was because a column of tanks "Gaddafis forces" was assaulting the city of Mizerata and Benghazi, the last two strongholds left to the protesters, well now they are being called the rebels because Gaddafi was killing the protesters so the defected military opened up the arsenals for the protesters so they could defend themselves and take there freedom by force if necessary, hence they are now called the rebels, just incase anyone has just turned on the TV

Any forces attacking the people of Mizerata & Benghazi will be destroyed from air units enforcing the no fly zone over Libya, the targets hit yesterday was the integrated missile defence systems that Gaddafi has/had, however he still clearly has his AA guns, which if you have been watching the news or following this you can clearly see in action over Tripoli, this was also part of the UN resolution backed by the Arab League,

I love how Gaddafi has made claims of civilian deaths in the bombing of his military hardware, yet continues to murder his own people in Benghazi & Mizerata

It wouldn't surprise me if Gaddafis forces have littered tho's military targets with the bodies of the dead protesters that he killed weeks ago for propaganda means , they "the people of Libya" just wanted to follow in the footsteps of the Tunisian's & Egyptians uprisings and protest for there freedom rights & democratic change, i feel so sorry for them to have had it snuffed out by an evil dictator who claimed they was rats terrorist & al qaeda and then began murdering of thos innocent protesters with his payed foreign mercenaries,

No other way round

Its abit shady right now tbh as to where his troop are now but...

Minutes after David Cameron (British Prime Minister) announced the no fly zone was going ahead, Gaddafi went on state TV and announced a ceasefire (HE LIED), being the man he is, he then step up his attack on Benghazi & Mizerat

The procedure should be that the tomahawks would take out the missile sites first for a safer no fly zone to the coalitions aircraft to operate in and then aircraft would bomb gaddafis forces should they advance into the rebel strongholds IE "the protesters"

But thats not the way it happened...

So clearly Gaddafi went for a quick push forward into tho's areas to try to embed his forces into a heavily populated areas, where it would have been very difficult to strike at from air with civilians in close proximity,

But fortunately the french made a brave decision to go in with the air defence system still in place to stop this happening, the missiles that hit the air defences was fired an hour after french aircraft bombed thos tanks and other targets,
