That’s why the French seem to be leading this operation. It would be unseemly for the US to be the lead in another war on Islamic lands.

I guess all of this may answer the question regarding the legitimacy of the world-wide ARAB STREET revolts.
It may be that Libya was the target all along.

NATO=WESTERN-POWERS=G8=NWO?

hahaha, go down to Threadneedle Street now, you will hear the printing presses working overtime now.

This is always the way in the UK. they did the same in 1991

In response to a strategic defense review, cut forces, cut funding, launch an "operation" get more funding!!

Interesting point made by Tim Marshall on Sky

Every time Obama speaks, he says the US WILL NOT put troops on the ground.

No mention of allies or partners, just not the US?

Yep totally agree - strangely enough the Nimrod decommissioning was stopped, and they have temporarily stopped the decomissioning of a couple of warships as well -

Political reasons from the UK then

Don't we pile up that much debt in the time it takes to make a sandwich anyways?
It's like throwing a gallon of gasoline on a 1,000,000 acre forest fire.

Depends on how long it takes to make a sandwhich.

Let's say making a sandwich takes you 5 minutes.

The current cost of the Iraq & Afghanistan war per Minute= $284,722

So, to make a sandwich takes about $1,423,610 worth of war time.

Since this latest attack cost us (just for the missiles alone) $68 million, then we effectively could have made about 48 sandwiches.

But I digress...

What next another earthquake to keep people on edge?
In a way it is good to liberate the people but in a way it is scary because who knows if they attack us in Europe now?

They have hit 20 targets already, tanks that is.

However, it seems that our government's rule is now more bold: Why build one when you can have 100 more for 100 times the price?

Now im hearing on sky news that the US have fired 120 tomohawk cruise missles??

Let's do the math on this, shall we, Mr. & Mrs. U.S. Taxpayer?

1 Tomahawk Cruise Missile: $569,000.00

120 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles: $68,280,000.00

Looks like business is booming for Raytheon & McDonnell Douglas.

U.S. Taxpayer: That much more into debt.

Yep, just another war to boost business interests ad activity. People insist that this is needed to protect the Libyian peoples.... please.. 2 million people died in Sudan afew years back and nothing was done, more were massacred in Burma and it continues on. This has little to do about the people.... Gadaffi is a bad man, I hope the libyan people rise above him, we can only send our hearts to them, but this declaration of war against Libya is just another scheme or agenda and its going to end costing the tax payer again.

The one thing that can bring Democrats and Republicans together huh? What a friggen joke.

Where are the tea partiers?? Where is moveon.org and the anti-war liberals? The silence is deafening.

tools.
