Interesting USGS find......I think ?!?!?
Hey there, So I was on the USGS when I decided to take a look at the ANSS page (Advanced National SeismicSystem) When I opened up the map I noticed that every recorder save 2 or 3 has had data within the past 10 minutes. I found this very odd. If anyone knows if this is the norm, please post.

Is it the curse of the 19th OOOOOOoooooooohhhhhANSS North American Map

The web page is showing the locations of the seismograms and whether they are transmitting CURRENT data. Not that any significant seismic event has happenned, just that they are working. If you actually click on one of the triangles it then gives you specific information regarding the instrumentation used, ie: coordinates, status, etc. Nothing to be alarmed about.
