Super moon and UFO?

I just recorded i video of the super moon from Australia.
At the 28 second's in the video you can see somthing fly from the left to right in an upwards diagonal direction across the moon.

It's most likley an insect or bird (so pls dont bash me) but with my understanding of photography I would think if the moon is in focus, somthing as close as a bird or insect would not be picked up by the camera.

Would the aperture of a video camera be small enough to have such a large field of focus?

Anyway Im sure you will enjoy the super moon.


btw. Is there a better way to share videos? as youtube video compresion sucks.

And here is a still photo of the moon from a couple of months ago, from the exact same spot as the video, just for all you guys who think the moon has tilted.

I'd say a bug thats a few feet away as if it's anything else crossing the length of the moon at that speed I'd imagine space would crack in two lol.

You never know though and it's a nice vid of the moon.

I don't see it sorry. Where are you in Australia? we can't see it in Queensland as it is cloudy as, not real cool. Sorry i can't comment on your UFO cause i don't see it.

I didn't see anything in the video, is it because of the vid compression that it maybe got blocked out? I kept going back to :28 but still didn't see anything...where is it exactly?

Im from NSW, the Riverina to be exact, we have some cloud but its mostly clear.
go to full screen and you should see it

Beautiful video! Unfortunately, I believe the object is just a bird or bat. Regardless, this is a beautiful video and i suggest everyone watching in 720HD for best viewing! Thanks for sharing OP

There is nothing to indicate that it is anything other than a bird or a bug.

After looking at it a few times I managed to see what you had picked up.

I would say a bug, but like you I do not know enough about apertures etc.

i was just sharing my video and looking for an answer on whether or not a video camera is capable of focusing an the moon and picking up something as close as a bird or insect at the same time.

no i dont no what you mean, I have had enough experiances to know whats real.

I honestly can't say for sure what it is, but I would agree that it is most likely a bug.

For those of you who keep saying you can't see it.

It's a damn Haunebu 2 I madem with 3ds max.

Of course there is no way to positively identify what it is...
...but there's is no reason that it can't be an insect.
