If you have Verizon as a cable provider you can watch live feeds from Japan 24 hours a day.
I think it is fantastic that they offer this.

Also, until April 10th they offer FREE calling to Japan.

This is something that really impresses me.

I saw this online and wanted to share.

The cable tv system I work for added NHK 4 days ago for free to all of our customers. It seems that NHK is waiving any fees associated with the distribution of their signal for the time being.
I'm not sure at this point how long it will be available, but we've had MANY calls thanking us for the addition.

The owner of the system I work for invented cable tv in 1948, that will tell you where I am located.

Yeah this one too has been on for a few days. I had noticed that no one made a thread to let people know, so here we are. So the cable companies are showing it because Japan waived the fees? That kind of deflates the news a bit, but at least we can watch it and people can call Japan for free (if they can get through) to check on loved ones.
