I think Maslo was refering to the side's in this thread. Obviously we have trolls and people causing trouble. This thread is derailing and moving waaaay off-topic in many ways.

I though Deccal's point was pretty obvious, though I appeciate some of those replying may not understand English very well.

The artists listed are not globally well known and compared with, say, Rembrandt or Van Gogh or Turner, might well be described as 'second tier'.

And I agree with his question: why banish Muslims from Australia? Why not Hindus and Christians as well? What's specifically wrong with Muslims?

Some Muslims may well wish to impose their religious values on everyone else, just as some Christians do. There is no difference. And why pick out a religion? What about non Muslim immigrants? Or is it okay if they're a thieving ignorant work-shy Afghan just so long as they don't go to mosque?

This was never meant to be a religious debate. Religion is not the issue here, at least not for me!

The issue is immigration, no matter what country you are from and what religion you claim to be!!


Although once again as per one of my previous posts, for the past couple thousand years, the biggest cause of argument, debate, conflict and war always goes back to religion... no matter which religion. It is always religion.

Now I wonder, how Maslo connected the immigration problem to the "we", to the "superior culture" and reduced to a distinction bet. "White Culture" against "Middle East Culture".

In, Slovakia not yet, as far as immigration from the middle east goes, because its almost nonexistent here (which may change with EU policy). But I know from people from western europe that it is really becoming a growing problem there, so I would rather trust them than some EU puppet politicians who claim we need another millions of uneducated and culturally incompatible immigrants while living in their large mansions away from the problem.

And we have our own similar problems with incompatible cultures here, so I know what I am talking about firsthand - gypsy communities. Its a third world country there. People have tried to help them and integrate them since they came in here, using good will, giving them money, even using force (during socialism)... Nothing changed, and the bad conditions and criminality there is skyrocketing, even after almost few hundred years of living amongst the slavic and in last century western culture. Thats how bad the problem becomes if incompatible and inferior culture which is against integration with the majority settles land in large numbers. And all that while they not even have any extremist religion views which encourage that behaviour! From what I have read there I would compare them more to latino immigrants in the US.

Somebody wittingly just gave to this thread the wrong direction. Wasn't at all about race or bashing a specific culture but apparently whoever belongs to the latest made the impossible to put this thread under racism light. So lame. The same pattern over and over. Where no arguments are available, someone is always ready to play the racism card. Few have asked the reason why are so many problems with muslims and why they should be banned (even though banning I don't think is the right word or the solution). Well I'm gonna have to quote myself again by adding that they don't integrate, their mentality is still in the middle ages and they're imposing with their religion and way of living. www.abovetopsecret.com...

Noone is superior/inferior just because of their race, and everyone should have basic human rights.

But cultures are superior and inferior, cultures are not equal, cultural relativism is the same fallacy as moral relativism. Or are you saying that the culture (and people accepting it) that cherishes basic human rigths is not objecitvelly superior to culture (and people who accept it) that stones adulterers? Are you a nihilist?

While being a large land mass, very little of it is habitable. Our infrastructure is modern enough and is certainly perfect for us. Policy has allowed quite alot of people from other cultures to move here and call our home, their home, but many have not assimilated or integrated into our society or culture.

There are also many, many students in our cities now and policies implemented by our government allow many of them to become permenant residents if they wish - often they are rude people with no respect for us.

Our public transport is clogged, our roads are jammed, our houses are unaffordable because they buy them all.

Our young cultural identity is under threat and we are angry because we feel helpless and because we believe that if people come to our home and we welcome you, then they should be appreciative and grateful. Not rude and demanding as though we owe them something.

My recent thread is below, i am not trying to promote as such, i dont expect any extra stars and flags etc, the thread has died out out by now.
