Fukushima as a whole has a estimated population of 470,166. I estimated the new count due to the original count being 290,000 back in 2003.

This data was collected and reposted here from en.wikipedia.org... based on population counts as of 2008.

PLEASE NOTE:: This is not a estimate of the death toll. This is a list of the hardest hit areas by the Tsunami along with the effected areas population count.

These numbers stagger me! It is imperative that MSM lie's about the death toll. If they had actual numbers or would even allow a estimate that is realistic to be said over the MSM, that in itself would cause panic. CNN report's of 2,000 Body's found washed up ashore. In reality the real picture would look like recent photos of the fish die-off's.

I am not here trying to be grim. The numbers don't lie and I only wish to show everyone the truth about the magnitude of death that the MSM is covering up.

Lets say 50% of those people lost their lives. How many could have potential bin killed?

Only two views so far. At least I didn't give the thread name some doom and gloom title...

thats a total of 2727216 divided / 2=1363608 posible death toll

I added up al the numbers of the list.

If this is coming close, then that is disastrous. I would not know what to feel any more, hardly can today

Whew! I cannot see that small anymore. : ) Would love to find a Google Earth Layer to turn on to view populations. Just can't figure out how to get this done.

There has definitely been a trend emerging regarding disaster death tolls in the recent past. It is minimized then slowly scaled up with relatively small increases.
I don't know if it sinister, i.e. "The shock of the truth might wake people up," or if it is nanny-ish, i.e. "People just can't handle the truth so we have to protect them." But the fact is either way, those in power are treating us not as equals, but as subjects needing control and/or handling.

really is a massive ammount of people. i will be very surprised if the death tolls they are giving are correct, due to the timescale they had from the quake to the tsunami hitting. from some of the vids i have seen, i didnt see masses of people running for the hills, but the opposite. with it being a regular occurance in Japan they are more used to quakes than the rest of us and if they took 10 minutes to stand back after the quake to assess the damage, that would have given them another 10 to get to a safe distance from the incoming tsunami. scary stuff

Wish GE has that option too, which is why I used WIKI to look up each province/town's population.

So even with just a couple percent for a death toll, we're talking tens of thousands of people. It makes sense. I keep hearing on the news that there are dozens of towns that they haven't even reached yet. The real death toll probably won't really start coming to light until they start to clean up the ten and twenty feet layers of rubble.

It took me an hour to look up the information, the real problem is I didn't even cover half of Japan.

All the complaints on every other topic about death does not compare to what I posted.

Oh well, guess ATS suppressed my thread. I expected it. I show the truth and it's drowned by ignorance.
